I thought today we'd go back to a good ole blogging favourite and discuss some recent... Favourites.
I'd like to make this a regular over here and also with a mini version over on my TikTok too, so if you'd prefer to see my top three faves of the month then do head over there as my first fave's video went live just last week.
This is going to be a real mixed bag of things, from fashion, beauty, skincare, haircare, songs, TV shows and random household items, so let's get cracking.
- Hush Dungarees
As I mentioned in my Tiktok faves video my top favourite fashion piece has got to be these Hush Dungarees which are sadly now sold out (or almost at the time of posting) but, you never know what the pre-loved Gods might have up their sleeves so do check out all the usual suspects for pre loved clothes.
These dungarees come up BIG and LOOOONG so definitely don't size up. I really love the oversized fit of them for many reasons but mainly due to the fact that you can layer to your hearts content. Whether it's a shirt, blouse, tee or a chunky knitted jumper, these bad boys allow for all. And when it comes to the craaaazy length, if you're on the shorter side like me, I'm 5ft 4, they can easily be hemmed or if you're a procastinator like me then two safety pins either side with one almighty turn up will do the trick...
I've worn them SO much over the last 6 or so months and plan to continue the love-in for many moons to come in. They've featured in styling videos here, here & here if you're after some styling inspiration.
- The Traitors
Okay okay OKAAAAY I am absolutely OBSESSED with this years season of The Traitors! Anyone else?
Don't worry, no spoilers here, I'm going to keep it super brief but my goodness it has been SO freaking good! Like, on the edge of my seat good, okay, Harry to Win, bye!
- The Inkey List Bio-Active Ceramide Repairing & Plumping Moisturiser
I shared this as part of an AD over on TikTok but my sweet lord, this moisturiser is unreal. I don't often feel that passionate about moisturisers, in my opinion they're the most boring step in my skincare routine. I'm always indifferent to whether they're actually serving my skin and I regularly switch up the moisturiser I'm using as I don't see any changes to my skin within the 6 weeks it takes me to get through a product.
HOWEVER(!!!!) this moisturiser gave me results in just 3.5 weeks I kid you not. I've never said anything close to this before about a moisturiser and this is not an AD, I'm just completely sold!
Since having Gene and having slightly more stress and complication in my life, combined with broken sleep, I've really noticed that my skin is ageing right before my eyes. I spent the latter months of 2023 hating what I saw in the mirror as my smile lines had turned into full on wrinkles and my skin looked tired and old. After just a few weeks of using this moisturiser my skin looks about 10 years younger (SERIOUSLY) and it's the softest my skin has ever been. I also think that my skin barrier is back up to scratch as my skin no longer feels tight during the day. I know this is quite the intense review but truly, I am converted and am hot footing to Boots today for a top up as it's now a staple in my routine.
4. THIS Taylor Swift Cruel Summer cover by G Flip, what a bloody bop!
5. Tigi Bed Head Wax Stick
I would honestly be lost without this product right now. It's a game changer on days when I need to be ready in a hurry, which is OFTEN with two little humans to take care of. It's essentially a push up stick full of wax that I use for getting all of my hair, including my full fringe, into a slick back bun/pony tail and it stays ALL DAY LONG!
So I might leave it there for now and be back with another favourites post next month, if this is something you like of course.
If you have any favourites that you think I NEED to know about please do leave them in the comments below as I would love to hear/try them.
Thanks again for all your support.
