Hello, we're back after some rather frustrating technical issues over the last couple of weeks. They're fixed and I'm hoping we're out of the woods and we can resume with our regular weekly chats, yay!
Today I wanted to put the unsung colour of the season under the spotlight as I have been LOVING wearing it recently. Icy blue seems to have come out of nowhere and taken my wardrobe by storm.
It's such a beautiful shade to play around with and there are so many colour combinations to be created using the icy hue.
As you can see in the look above, I absolutely ADORED pairing the shade with grey whilst over in Copenhagen for fashion week. A look filled with cool tones that compliment one another beautifully. Throwing in lashings of texture with the fine knit of my high neck top, the twill grey co-ord and the wool from my trusty & Other Stories coat and it's pretty much my dream winter get-up. I also enjoyed throwing in some unexpected accessories with the nylon bag, the chunky white New Balance trainers and the blue tights.
Here I'm pairing my icy blue knitted vest with pops of primary colours and a sprinkling of black tailoring to create what I think is a really fun look.
A fun take on a workwear outfit and a way of taking the icy blue hues down a warmer route. Red, yellow and blue are shades that are always going to work together but I think the combination of pastel tones and more vivid and contrasting shades work to make this outfit really playful whilst still sophisticated with the tailoring elements.
And lastly for my lil icy blue outfit round up, we're throwing caution to the wind and going with head-to-toe icy blue, my personal favourite way to champion a colour.
Stine Goya are the heroes of matching co-ords and have championed icy blue for quite some time, so this co-ord in their signature cut with their "signature" colour was absolutely ticking all boxes. I personally love the addition of the black running throughout the pieces with the textured fabric. I picked out this darker shade by bringing it through to my little ballet flats and sunglasses which work to add a healthy dose of contrast to the head-to-toe look. And lucky for me I already had this blue Saks Potts coat in my wardrobe which was the finishing piece to my icy blue look.

I thought I'd finish this icy blue love in with a little edit of some of my fave blue pieces right now. I really see this colour being a huge hit this summer with more and more pieces becoming available as we head into the warmer months and I can't wait for it.

Love the little shopping edit, such a great addition to a blog post!

The coat looks good.
Icy blue is such a versatile shade loved seeing how you styled it both monochromatically and with bold pops of color. The texture mixing really makes each outfit pop. My friend recently ordered a similar knit in this tone online, but had sizing issues and spent forever dealing with https://shein.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html to return it. Makes me appreciate being able to try things on first! The color really does work for any season though.
So glad you’re back! I know how annoying tech issues can be, but it’s worth the wait. That icy blue aesthetic is exactly what I needed to see—it’s such a fresh yet wearable choice. I really like how you combined the & Other Stories coat with a waistcoat; it adds texture without bulk. The New Balance trainers give it a perfect casual vibe too. Honestly, hunting for that perfect subtle shade feels a bit like navigating levels in an arrow escape game, where every small detail matters. Can’t wait to see your next pick!

Great to see you back! Icy blue is such a refreshing choice for late winter, and the mix of brands here creates a really balanced look. The way you styled the & Other Stories coat with H&M pieces shows how accessible these trends can be. It reminds me of how we explore character designs in FNF V-Slice at FNF V-Slice, where subtle color shifts define a character’s mood just like this outfit defines a season. Have you tried styling icy blue with earth tones yet?
So glad to see you back after those technical hiccups! I’ve been obsessed with icy blue this season too, and your styling of the & Other Stories coat is perfect. It reminds me that sometimes the quietest colors make the biggest statement. Speaking of finding unique vibes, I recently stumbled upon a free Haunted Dorm online game at atmospheric gaming that captures that same eerie, cool-toned aesthetic. Have you ever tried mixing icy tones with darker accessories like the Le Specs sunglasses?
So glad you’re back after those tech issues! Icy blue is such a refreshing pick for late winter; it pairs beautifully with neutral tones like the H&M waistcoat you styled. It’s interesting how this subtle hue elevates a simple outfit without overpowering it. Speaking of color palettes, I sometimes find that even pixel art tools need careful color selection to maintain mood—something we explore over at online pixel game tools when designing retro sprites. Have you tried styling icy blue with warmer accessories for contrast?
