Earlier this month you may have seen that George and I were lucky enough to escape the Mancunian cold and swap it for the start of the Moroccan summertime. We headed to Marrakech for 4 nights at The Royal Palm Fairmont Hotel for a little baby moon. Its not long now until baby boy arrives and we become a family of 4 and whilst I am the most excited I have ever been to experience that newborn bubble once again, I just know how hectic things are about to get, so a little break away just George and I was exactly what we needed. I needed to rest to be honest. My body is sore this time around and I am constantly tired, I think it's the difference of not being in lockdown the way I was with Goldie, and also running around after my two year old whilst being 7 months pregnant.
3 days of unbroken sleep, delicious food, sunshine, lie ins, massages, sun lounger snoozing, and early nights (can you tell I enjoyed all the extra sleeping) did me so so good and on my return I felt ready to tackle the final months of pregnancy before the mayhem begins.
So, without further ado, here is a little look into our baby moon and some further information on the spectacular Royal Palm hotel. The dreamiest resort for both couples and families alike.

We kept things SO chill during this trip and to be perfectly honest the Royal Palm hotel made this super easy to do. We truly didn't need to leave the resort as the food was absolutely SENSATIONAL! There are a number of restaurants within the resort and we were lucky to sample all but two during our 4 days there. Whether it's traditional Moroccan cuisine with an absolutely electric atmosphere that you're after, or a relaxed lunchtime affair by the pool or at the Golf course, there is something for everyone. Not to mention a Sushi restaurant and Mexican on site too.

The resort is simply breathtaking, set in an olive grove, you can just imagine the beauty all around! Not to mention the homegrown and homemade olive oil and bread made on site... STUNNING!
Amongst the olive trees were orange and lemon trees, bougainvillea and palm trees alike, a true recipe for beauty! The interior design and overall look of the resort was truly beautiful and a gorgeous, modern take on typical Moroccan design. Our suite was one of the most luxurious and incredible rooms we have ever stayed in and trust me, we felt SO incredibly lucky to be spending 4 days there.

The Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech is also the home of Morocco's largest golf course, if that's you're kinda thing. George was ITCHING to get stuck in, so perhaps a future visit will be on the cards...
There's a great kids club which seemed so so lovely and also the most beautiful spa I've ever been to. With a real Riad vibe to it, the setting was truly stunning and incredibly relaxing to boot. We were booked in for a couples massage, a "mother to be" massage for me and a full body massage for George, both of which were magic. So much so, I booked in for another pregnancy massage before we flew home, glorious!

And that's your lot for our magical baby moon in Marrakech. A truly beautiful place to stay, recharge, eat and relax. The resort, as I've already gushed about, was simply magic and I hope to be lucky enough to return one day. Fairmont Royal Palm, you've made one pregnant lady very happy indeed.
