Last Friday I was lucky enough to be invited to the launch party of the Blanca Miro x Reserved collection. I have admired Blanca Miro and her weird and wonderful eye for detail, colour and prints for soooo many years that it truly was such an honour to be able to celebrate her incredible collection with her IRL.
The collection, as expected, is simply spectacular with every single piece designed to perfection with Miro's personal style at the heart. A collection inspired by Miro's dream vintage wardrobe, the pieces she wishes to find pre-loved but has never managed to do so. She has totally encapsulated this idea and brought this story to life with Reserved and as I sit here on a Tuesday morning, sipping my coffee and writing this piece, I am wearing the suede jacket and corduroy trousers from the collection and I can confidently say that the quality, finish and design is phenomenal. It's such a joy to see such beautifully crafted pieces available on the high street, the kind of pieces that will live in your wardrobe for years upon years, timeless pieces that you'll find yourself reaching for over and over again.
The collection was also inspired by Miro's mother and grandmother and their personal styles, so I think that goes a long way in explaining just how timeless this collection is.

When asked to pick a favourite piece, I struggled completely as I can see myself wearing and loving absolutely every single piece. However, the look I'm wearing here, the corduroy waistcoat and trouser combo (also comes with a blazer) and paired with a seventies inspired ringer tee with a colourful graphic to the front, well, if this doesn't scream "Me", I don't know what does. It feels like a very "Me" outfit and I just know I'm going to wear this SO many times over.
In addition to this full look, I feel this collection really thrives when it comes to the outerwear. Silhouettes inspired by decades past, crafted from the most stunning suede, wool, satin and quilting, I feel there is a piece of outerwear for every wardrobe!
Basically, this is a love letter to Blanca Miro and Reserved on such a truly incredible collection, BRAVO!
Be sure you check it out here.
