Hello Hello!
How are you all doing? It's been a fair few weeks since I wrote on here, apologies for that my loves.
I thought I'd try and get back into the swing of things with a lil ode to this totally fabulous dress. It's by Max & Co, a new-ish brand on my radar; one I'd hear about over the years but had only really explored this month whilst in Florence.
Amy and I stumbled upon their store in Florence and the colours drew us inside. A beautiful shop filled with autumn/winter goodness in the most joyful of colour palettes. We had one almighty try-on session and I left with this incredible dress (amongst other things) that is so totally out of my comfort zone that I worried I'd made a silly purchase... Until I got home and styled it up
The dress, that features a chartreuse knitted top and an oversized, voluminous, taffeta skirt, makes quite the statement. The length is a little out of my comfort zone, as is the silhouette, however, there was something about the drop hemline, the navy paired with the chartreuse and the mix of textures that really drew me in. I knew there was potential for some serious layering also and for that reason, I took the plunge and brought it home with me.
As you can see here, the layering potential is real. Paired here with a Saturday By Megan Ellaby, Ziggy high neck top underneath and an oversized blazer by Djerf Avenue over the top. However, I have also styled it with a simple white tee underneath, a plain navy polo neck jumper as a base layer and also with a chunky jumper over the top too; so yeah, I guess we could say that the layering possibilities are pretty damn endless indeed.

It’s really a good Fashion, and now that I’ve found it, I think it’s awesome.
