I'm writing this in my new usual spot, at the newly finished kitchen island and guess what I'm wearing... SWEAT PANTS AND A MATCHING SWEAT SHIRT! You know it!
I'm honestly quite disapointed in myself for not appreciating how truly wonderful a tracksuit can be until my twenty-ninth year on planet earth, how the heck did we let that happen please!? I actually don't think I've owned a full tracksuit since the 90s and the whole Sporty Spice fever was high for 7 year old Megan... I had a Kappa tracksuit that I loved and wore with chunky trainers and a Manchester City T-Shirt with my name on the back, those were the days!
But in 2020 with all that staying home malarky, I found myself needing something more than leggings that would cause wedgies, stop the circulation around my growing tummy (and that was pre pregnancy) and knitwear that really was too special to be lounging around the house eating cereal at 2pm in... You know! So I ordered my first tracksuit from good old ASOS- mugged myself here as I went for a towelling lilac tracksuit which didn't really bode well when I caught my reflection half way through the day with cornflakes stuck in my hair and a face that was yet to be washed... So since then I've opted for darker colours and in actual sweatshirt material and it's honestly one of the best discoveries of 2020, granted not a lot else was discovered I must admit but hey, small wins!

Whether it's sweatshirts, hoodies or sweatpants, or even better the whole shebang I truly can't get enough of them so thought I'd share some of my fave looks with you all today. It's funny how lockdown has made us all a little more tolerant to what we see share online. Back in 2019 the thought of me ever sharing a look such as this had never crossed my mind, yet here I am sharing not one but FIVE looks of this nature and I'm sat writing it in a brand new tracksuit... This one here which I now have in two colour ways, have absolutely no regrets about and think they may well be the best things I've ever ever bought, honestly, I am very passionate about this tracksuit in particular.
So this first look combines another new found love of mine and that is the good ole puffer jacket. In the same nature as the tracksuit, more casual outerwear was required for 2020 as we ventured into a miserable winter and did absolutely nothing except walk the dogs. So both George and I got our cosy on with some epic outerwear purchasing, we opted for size L's so we could share since I was only getting bigger by the day...
This one I found in TK Maxx, it's a Schott Jacket, remember those... I remember the mean girls in school wearing them and them being seen as sooooo cool! My mum would never let me have one though, along with Rockport boots (remember those?) I am forever grateful to you mamma bear, you knew what was right for little lost sheep Megan.
Anyway this leopard print Schott Jacket I can get on board with and I'm completely obsessed with. I have to say it looks better on George (doesn't everything) but when paired with an epic pair of walking boots and some bright green joggers it makes for quite the statement look that is still completely and utterly cosy AF!

This was supposed to just feature the Mads Norgaard shacket but as I stepped out the door I quickly realised that, that would not suffice... It was baltic! So I ran indoors and grabbed the nearest coat to me which just so happened to be another checked piece... Not mad about it tbqh. So we are rocking an absolutely unintentional triple checked look, a print clash to rival all print clashes but I'm into it. I like a look that is thrown together and somehow works out.
Admittedly there aren't any visible tracksuit related items here BUT I do adore these Adidas leggings or at least I did until I hit month 7 of pregnancy and they did nothing to support the bump anymore, something I only remembered half way down the road last week and the bump was not supported in any way... Rookie error! And also underneath the layers of check I do have on my absolute FAVE Saturday piece ever in the form of the Ultimate Hoodie... Never was there a softer hoodie! I've lived in it this year, as have the majority of my friends and family too, trust us, it's a lockdown essential!

And here it is in all it's glory, I think I'm wearing an XL here but usually would be rocking a small if I wasn't pregnant. The small does still fit but you know, comfort levels are slightly lower than when rocking the XL. I'm not doing a great job of showing off my fave Saturday piece ever as I'm wearing them here with pyjamas... Out of the house... But it was Christmas day and they do look like joggers and they are made by one of my fave Insta Pals Eleanor Bowmer who deserves the absolute world and makes such magical pieces... Yeah I know, get a room!

BEANIE - c/o ARKET, COAT - SHRIMPS (old), HOODIE - SATURDAY BY MEGAN ELLABY, LEGGINGS - ADIDAS, BOOTS - ASOS
Here we have the latest hoodie addition to the Saturday By Megan Ellaby family with the Primrose hoodie, a superstar seller for us, and I'm sure you can see why. She's just so damn CUTE!
A white base with blue tie-dye, it's all hand dyed so each piece will be ever so slightly unique for you, which I think is such a lovely touch. Whilst she looks awesome with leggings and sweatpants and jeans (man I miss my jeans) and leopard print coats, I'm REALLY hoping she'll be rocked at music festivals this summer, that's where I envisage her looking her finest and living her best life. I doubt I'll be at any festivals this summer, what with the wee bab but I truly hope they can take place safely! Another summer without music festivals is just not okay is it! But hey, we'll see won't we. She's just so fab regardless!

BEANIE - GANNI (similar here), COAT - THE NORTH FACE, JUMPER - c/o OLIVIA RUBIN, JOGGERS - NIKE VIA ASOS, TRAINERS - CONVERSE
And finally we have my beloved Nike sweatpants, the ones I was raving about earlier and that I'm wearing in black as I write this blogpost. I chose to style it up a wee bit with a posh piece of knitwear as I wasn't staying home this day as I was getting some much needed exercise at the park so thought it was okay to rock such a piece. Nike sweatpants and an Olivia Rubin jumper... WOW who'd have thought it. I love it though, the juxtaposition is just too damn cute don't you think!?
I've left a little list or two of everything featured within this post and also some other casual little beauties that I'm really having to refrain from purchasing for myself. I adore tracksuits, I adore puffer jackets but why do they have to be so damn hard to store eh!?

Yes, I remember that period when I was stuck at home …..
it was a period of eating everything that came to hand. I ate a lot. Flakes and salted fish seemed like a super treat to me!
But the result didn’t make you think. I put on a lot of weight. And all I could wear to hide my cellulite and thick legs was oversized clothes
Still, I prefer clothes that emphasize femininity. I like dresses and tight-fitting trousers, shorts. After the birth of the child, my figure did not look very pretty. I had cellulite and body fat. there was no time to visit the gym.
So I bought dumbbells https://megashape.uk/dumbbells-c-1/adjustable-dumbbells-set-40kg-2h20kg-p-1 and did it at home.
This Adjustable dumbbells set is very handy for home workouts. It does not take up much space and you can adjust the load for your workouts. So you don’t have to buy a lot of dumbbells of different weights. It is convenient and economical.
After a few months, I looked much better
First time I read your article. I feel stupid not to have done this before. Well done
