I thought I'd share a lil make up look with y'all today.
A look that is perfect for the festive season with it's OTT sparkle, but a look that is pretty simple and worth wearing at home with your fave jumper and cashmere socks...
It's super fun & ever so festive but easy to do as not a great deal of skill is required and it lends itself to any colour combination you desire but today I went for a touch of purple ๐

So I'm not overly adventurous when it comes to my base it's either the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter (but I've just ran out of that beauty) or the Chanel Les Beiges Eau De Teint which I opted for with this look. Both are extremely simple, dewy and create a no-make-up-make-up-look which is something I LOVE when it comes to my base.
I'll then pop on some of the Glossier Stretch concealer in shade G9 for a lil more coverage where necessary and dust over my face with the Gucci bronzer which is just glorious! I'll switch my brush for something slightly more dense and work the same bronzer into my cheekbones to create some definition before adding a touch of highlight with the absolutely incredible Beauty Pie Luminizing Wand... A truly amazing highlight! For a pop of colour to my chops it's ALWAYS the Nars Orgasm Blush which I've been using for years and years.
Once my base is done I'll spritz over some of the incredible Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray, using one spray to activate the Soap Brows eyebrow product too. I really love Soap Brows, it's changed my eyebrow game I must admit!
Now it's time for the fun factor and by that I mean the eyes!
I LOVE experimenting with my eye make up at this time of year, any excuse to go bold, to go colourful and to go all out on the glitter! Rather haphazardly I added the Glossier Play jelly glitter under my eye lids, a perfect solution for if you're sleep deprived...
I've just noticed that the Glossier Play glitter is no more, which is sad as I LOVE it, so I'll be sure to link to an alternative above for y'all.
I then went in with the Urban Decay Wired palette and used the white first, followed by purple shade "Shock" all over the lid, pressing into the lid to maximise on the amazing pigment that comes from this palette. Adding some volume and some definition with the Marc Jacobs mascara- honestly, every mascara from Marc Jacobs is truly sensational!
And to finish, a slick of the Hermes Rose Ombre lipstick followed by the Nars Afterglow Lip Balm, my go-to lip look right now.
And Voila, you're done, you're ready to party on at home.
If you try out this look, please DO tag me in it, I'd love to see.
