A truly bonkers collection launch weekend has just taken place for Saturday by Megan Ellaby and I'm still not quite over the excitement of it all. It was the most successful launch day to date which has truly left me dumbfounded... THANK YOU ALL!
As I've said before it's been a tricky year for everyone as we know but when it comes to running a small business that requires production in other countries and having to rely on others it really was quite the challenge indeed. I mentioned on the Saturday stories at the weekend how sorry I was for not having any knitwear to share this year, it's honestly quite embarrassing I must admit but it's just out of our hands.
The big, super wealthy, corporate fashion houses were prioritised, something I TOTALLY understand with their HUGE orders, something a factory can't turn down. So we were left out of yarn allocation, something that had been limited due to the virus. And then, once we had found the yarn in the colours we had switched our designs to, we couldn't get the knitting slot... So with that, no new knitwear, which is a huge shame as we had the best designs and new styles including cardigans and knitted vests which I was so excited about, but hey ho, what can we do!
Instead we put our all into making sure our jersey and cotton selection was tip top and ensured that there were a couple more styles for you to choose from, to make up for the lack of knitwear, and boy did you lot love it!
I truly cannot believe the volume of orders we had over the weekend and they keep on coming which is just crazy. With three sell out styles (that we're trying to book more of ASAP) it really was quite the shocking and magical weekend and I'm so proud, relieved and truly thrilled that you like the new styles.
As always, I thought I'd do a lil round up of what's-what in case you're still deciding what to go for <3

So first up, above we have our Tyler high neck top, featuring green and brown checkerboard print with the occasional heart thrown in for good measure. I think she might be one of my favourite prints of all time ever, I can't stop wearing her. As is with all of our high neck tops they are made to be fit to the body so if you prefer a looser look then please do size up. Our high necks look so great when layered underneath T-Shirts, Shirts, Blouses or our Margot tops...

This is Maggie our mix & match tiger & stripe high neck top with a contrasting white collar. I am really excited about Maggie, there's something somewhat understated about her with the colour combination of dusty blue and brown, yet she's still super, duper fun with the mash up of prints.

Following the huge success of our yellow Margot Dagger Collar top that sold out twice previously, we thought it only right to launch two new colours, one with long sleeves to create a slightly different silhouette.
We have our green with pink embroidery and long sleeves and our lilac with green embroidery and short sleeves. Each come with a gorge 70s style dagger collar with embroidery and a ring pull zip fastening. I love layering these up and playing around with how I style them with the zip either done up or open for a more relaxed look.

I don't know about you lot but I have LIVED in hoodies this year. Staying home has provided an all new lease of LURRRRVE for hoodies and sweatshirts so we thought it only seemed right to add to our hoodie selection. Our flower Primrose motif did so well in T-Shirt form during the summer months so we thought it deserved to be seen again, this time on a tie-dye hoodie nonetheless. Each hoodie is hand-dyed so the tie-dye formation will vary from piece to piece meaning you'll have a totally unique design to you.

Misty came from the same brainchild as Maggie with the mix & match of prints but this time with green zebra print and pink & black stripes. She sold out in record timing which is just bonkers as over the last two years we've added and added to the number of items we book each time, so to sell out so quickly is truly mind blowing for me. I'm SO thrilled you love her and I'm SO excited to see you all rock her.

As you all know, I love nothing more than a boyish colour combination, particularly when it's combined with an oversized T-Shirt and ideally a stripe... In steps our Jerry T-Shirt again, one of my fave pieces to date as it's just so so fun! Named after Jerry Williams, someone who also has a love for tomboy styling, the Jerry tee is a really fun design that fits loosely as if you've stolen it from your boyfriends wardrobe. If you like things to fit slightly smaller then please do size down.

And yes, as you can see from the styling of Jerry above, she looks awesome when paired with our Brownies inspired high neck top, Agnes. With a reversed stripe design in yellow and brown, Agnes is a retro gals dream!

And finally and rather excitingly we have some more accessories.
Introducing our first tote bag with screen printed Saturday motif featuring all of our most popular prints and the socks, ahhh the socks, I'm so in love with these socks, they're SO FREAKING CUTE and insanely comfortable, featuring rainbow stripes and our adorable little clam logo. These two make the perfect Christmas stocking fillers along with our embroidered cap too.
The Saturday Tote Bag- £12 & The Saturday Clam Tube Socks- £15
So there we have the latest from Saturday By Megan Ellaby, thank you all so so much for your continued support with this project and with everything else, it truly means the absolute world.
Lots of love
