HAT- MONKI, COAT- MADS NORGAARD, SHIRT- MONKI, LEGGINGS- ONLY, SHOES- ASOS, BAG- MARC JACOBS
Hello, hello, I hope you're all doing really well. I thought that today I'd do a lil round up of some of my pregnancy style staples thus far. I'm officially 6 months pregnant this week which is just crackers! It's all gone so fast and it's only in the last month or so that I've actually felt pregnant, which is so different to the experience I was expecting.
The first few months were about keeping things under wraps until we knew all there was to know about our little one, so I found there were some great pieces within my wardrobe that I was gravitating towards regularly, such as oversized shirts and waistcoats. And since the bump has come out to say hello I've been shopping for elasticated trousers and leggings, not something I ever thought I'd be wearing out of the house BUT I'm actually really enjoying them.
So, let's go.

HAT- MONKI, BLAZER- & OTHER STORIES, FLARES- ONLY, TRAINERS- NEW BALANCE, BAG- GUCCI
So first we have the elasticated trousers and leggings, all of which I've linked to if you're pregnant and in need of some super cool yet comfortable bottoms but also, even if you're not pregnant these are all from mainline fashion ranges which I'm hoping to be able to rock once baby gal is here too. Printed trousers and leggings or even classic grey trousers like the ones below are my vice right now, along with statement coats, they're allowing me to be pregnant but to still look and feel like me, something that is so super important as the rest of my world is changing so rapidly right now.

COAT- c/o CHARLOTTE SIMONE, JUMPER- ACNE STUDIOS (old), TROUSERS- c/o ARKET, BAG- GUCCI, SHOES- LOUIS VUITTON

SHIRT- c/o NU IN, JEANS- & OTHER STORIES, SUNGLASSES- RAYBAN, SHOES- LOUIS VUITTON, BAG- STAUD
For the longest time it wasn't quite cold enough to rock a statement coat so I took a lot of comfort in oversized shirts to dress my teeny tiny new bump. Jackets and shackets in all kinds of colours and styles were great for taking a newly pregnant me from summer into autumn and I'm ever so grateful for these two in particular as I wore them SO much throughout and can continue to do so even now 🙂

SHIRT- c/o NU IN, WAIST COAT- VINTAGE, JEANS- c/o PAIGE DENIM (old), BOOTS- GUCCI, BAG- LOUIS VUITTON via VESTIAIRE COLLECTIVE

WAISTCOAT- OLD & CUSTOMISED H&M, SHIRT- SABINA SOMER, JEANS- & OTHER STORIES, TRAINERS- REEBOK c/o & OTHER STORIES, BAG- GUCCI

T-SHIRT- c/o SANDRO, WAISTCOAT- c/o ARKET, JEANS- & OTHER STORIES, SANDALS- DUCIE LONDON, BAG- CHLOE
And finally sleeveless waistcoats have been SO great for dressing my little bump and adding a little bit of interest to my more simple of looks. They did me proud throughout the latter days of the summer and they're still bringing all the styling extra points for layering up now it's a touch colder too. If you have a spare denim jacket going in your wardrobe that you're not wearing right now, go and find some scissors and hack off those sleeves. A super easy way to inject some love into an old and unworn piece.
I hope you found this useful and if there are any other round ups like this you'd like to see please do let me know.
