Apologies, but yes, once again I am starting off a blogpost discussing the weather...
But this kind of outfit has pretty much been my uniform throughout the down days of July; Comprised of layers, layers and yep, more layers, however with a touch of summer in the form of my chunky Kurt Geiger sandals reminding me what July should have been and a cap that also screams summer yet protects my barnet from the consistent wind and rain that we had all month long!
As much as I didn't exactly revel in the weather July graced us with I do love an outfit that quickly becomes a go-to. A look that you feel fab in and that lends itself to a number of activities; for example this look is perfect for a dog walk, it's perfect for popping into town for a meeting or for brunch with the girls and it's also something I'd feel totally comfortable wearing to a small, socially distanced celebration with pals. It's an outfit for many an occasion and for that reason I've been opting for it so much lately.

I'd love to hear about your summer uniforms, has there been a certain combination or piece that you've been rocking all summer long, or all month long whilst the weather's not been on side? Aside from of course the compulsory face covering; I have a blogpost coming up this week (hopefully), that will be showcasing some of my fave indie brands serving up face covering beautifullness, so whilst I'm on that topic I'd love to hear if you'd recommend any that I can throw into the mix?
With that, I hope you're all doing well and keeping safe and sane.
As you can tell, I've not got an awful lot to say or to report on right now, life's very quiet for me, just the way I like it so I'm hoping this dose of outfit inspiration will suffice for now(???)
Until next time 🙂
