Hello, hello, hello, I hope you're all doing well and had a glorious weekend despite the wash out weather...🙃 Following on from last week it was clear that you were keen for high street wish lists and following a DM from @alittlelawoffashion who suggested that I share what's in my ASOS Saved folder (what a cracking idea) I thought I'd do exactly that, share my saves with y'all.
I must be honest, over the last year or so I personally don't think the high street has been all that great and i've struggled to find things that work for me in the way that I used to, particularly since I'm not buying as much fast fashion anymore. This is something a number of you have noticed and I'm going to try and share more from the high street in this sort of format in addition to my OOTD's. I'm still finding that sweet spot of sharing high street finds and mixing that with slower investment pieces as I know a huge portion of my audience don't want high street as much anymore but then it was clear last week that there are still some of you who wish there was more, so I guess the battle of the balance continues.
Saying that, I feel that ASOS are slowly but surely smashing it again and I'm finding myself adding things to my saves more often than I have in a long time. I hope you enjoy this little wish list of my ASOS saves as much as I loved putting it together for you... I'm now thinking a little purchase or two may be in order, tomorrow though as today is Blackout day.

Love this, Megan! Great format, great idea, great pics. I now have a lot of tabs open for a browse… and thank you for mentioning Blackout day, I’d completely forgotten so good to be reminded!
Thrilled to bits that you like this format Gabrielle 🙂 That’s so fab to hear, any particular brand you’d like to see next? xx
Love this format! I’ve been pretty much buying exclusively second-hand from Depop and eBay for the past 6 months but my birthday is coming up and family members tend to give me vouchers for the high street (Topshop/ASOS etc) and it would be rude not to use the vouchers 😉 It’s really helpful for you to share what you’ve been loving, the chunky shoes and tie dye jeans have deffo caught my eye. Perhaps you could continue this “whats in my save for later” every couple of months or so?
Really glad you like the post Amy 🙂 Every couple of months sounds good to me x
I love this concept – it would be such an amazing ongoing blog series! Sharing a mix of investment pieces as well as a few high street ones seems like the perfect balance.
I’ve moved away from fast fashion over the last few years and have been investing in higher quality pieces (still high street brands though) and I particularly love seeing your & Other Stories and ARKET picks.
One of my favourite things about reading your blog is discovering new brands and getting outfit inspiration. Even if the more slow, investment pieces aren’t always in my budget I still absolutely love seeing them because it’s all about finding style inspiration for me!

Great stuff, I’ll certainly make it a regular feature here on the blog Faye 🙂 So glad you enjoyed it. I think an & Other Stories version would be awesome! xxx
Absolutely love this idea Megan! Please continue to share your Asos saved lists!
YAY I’m so glad Hayley. Oh yes absolutely I will indeed x
Been in such a style rut recently so this is heaven. Such a fab idea! Please make this a regular thing x
I feel you on the style rut front girlie! Glad this may have helped a little bit.
Lots of love x
Aw this is bang on! Looks like my ASOS saved tbh <3
Yay! x
Oh now I want to buy some new clothes 🙂 Love this format, great source of inspiration.
Yesss Megan! This is an amazing idea, I don’t know if you’ve done similar before but THANK YOU! I love the easy links, the different clothing items shared here. I completely understand the worry of finding the balance from fast fashion to sustainable fashion, managing to get the right fair price and quality. Thank you for being so honest. I felt awfully bad recently from buying from a certain brand retailer after hearing the news. However, I took it from a lesson learned. I rather support and enjoy clothing I buy knowing its from a decent company. Its worth taking time out and investing in companies that are worth supporting. 😊
Love love love this Megan! Fab idea and I hope to see this become a regular feature on the blog. There are so many brands on ASOS there’s something for everyone. And other stories haul would be great too! Hope you’re keeping okay ❤️
