This ski trip already feels like a million years ago, it's so strange.
When in hindsight it was only one month ago to the very day that we flew over to Geneva, got a car across to France and on to Val D'Isere for what is fast becoming our annual ski trip. We headed back to the totally wonderful Barmes De l'Our Hotel & Spa where we visited back in 2018, but this time with two of our best pals Amy & Rob.
Skiing is now one of my favourite things to do and I think I have well and truly got the bug for it. Back in 2018 it was both mine and George's first go at skiing in over 10 years since visiting with school so it was safe to say that we were a touch rusty. Since then George has been out to Austria with his friends and I seem to have grown in confidence as this year I absolutely loved it, revelling in going as fast as I could and my technique had improved tenfold. Not really sure how or why this happened but I am certainly not complaining.
We had a truly magical week which was spoilt by just one thing... Snow! We had too much of it and were unfortunately snowed off for THREE WHOLE DAYS! Snow storms were coming in thick and fast and it was simply too dangerous to ski which was soso sad, but lucky for us we were staying in such a gorgeous hotel that it didn't matter too much as we enjoyed the spa facilities, the delicious raclette (pretty much every night), the wine selection and the insanely cosy lounge areas of our favourite hotel (to see more check out last year's post here)
This post isn't going to be sharing recommendations as I still stand by everything I shared last year, however this time it's just a little photo diary of our time in one of our favourite places with two of our favourite people. Val D'Isere we'll be back, perhaps in 2021 though, 'cause weddings are EXPENSIVE...

I just check you blog and tadaaaaaa there is a new post! A new, interesting post! I saw from you posts of Val d’isere from 2018 and 2019 too and I fell in love with that place! Hope i can go soon! But I have to admit… I’ve never been skiing!!! And I am a bit afraid of cold! I usually feel cold also in summer… Maybe I need all layers available 😂
I bloody love also Drew knit and on a leopard print is simply perfect! Ooooh I really would like to be able like you to Mach chlotes, colors…. But fortunately I’ve got you to follow!
