NOTHING TO SAY BUT LOTS TO ASK

I've just got to kick start this blog post by saying how chuffed I am with how these snaps turned out. It's not often that the perfect location presents itself to you when you least expect it but alas, that was the case when Rosie and I set out to shoot this look. A look featuring a heck load of red and a location featuring a heck load of red, what a fabulous turn of events eh.

Not only are these shots some of my favourites in a really long time, but this outfit is also a look that I really, truly adore. Similarly to how the location found it's way to us, this outfit was one that styled itself; I don't remember even thinking about it. I just knew that I wanted to rock this dress with my Dr Martens and before I knew it the look featured some clashing prints, an OTT piece of headwear and my newest handbag, all working really rather wonderfully together don't you think?

Anyway, as the title suggests I'm a little lost for words currently with very little inspiration on what to write about, by way of a topic at least. Lately life has been really rather fast paced and "scatty", do you know what I mean by that? Every week seems to be jam packed with lots of little bits that are somewhat easy to tick off the ole to-do list but that don't do my brain too good at all. Little things that take a lot of planning, a lot of brain power and just generally a lot of kicking off to start with but that are done quickly and so it's on to the next. I do hope that makes sense. So I think that has a lot to do with how I'm feeling right now, as I write this blog post at 630am on Monday morning before yet another "scatty" week.

I really love being busy, but I must admit I'm already ready for some down time this Christmas, aren't you?

This week involves quite a bit of shooting content for brand work that I'm super excited to be a part of this season, along with two supper clubs that I am hosting in association with Made.com (pinch me!) The first being a night filled with some of my fave northern content creators in both the fashion and interiors industry and the second, a ticketed event where I get to meet a tonne of you guys, exciting! It's going to be a lovely and intimate affair and I'm really excited for some one on one time with some of you lot 🙂 Although I am a teeny tiny bit nervous I must admit...

Speaking of homeware, I finally launched my interiors account on Sunday which is very, very exciting for me. I've wanted to do this for quite some time as I'm forever snapping little corners of our home, so it's really nice to have a place for those snaps to live. In addition to my two evenings with made.com, we have a full house this week with my gorgeous gal pal Amy coming down with Rob from Scotland for the supper club on Tuesday, I honestly cannot wait to see and to squeeze them. They're staying all week (along with Georges family!!!) as it is also the launch of the Jimmy's Liverpool Restaurant eeeek! Yep, it's happening this Thursday, Jimmy's is bringing food into the mix and I am so excited about this. George and his head chef had a day at our house a couple of week's back where they cooked the entire menu and my goodness are you in for a treat. That was a very, very good day 😉

So lots of occasion-wear is to be worn this week, which i'm really excited about, I love getting all dolled up for an evening, particularly at this time of year. Speaking of which, did you catch my latest party wear styling post? I truly loved putting that post together and I'm really excited to create more. Similarly with that is Black Friday and Christmas, what would you like to see from me around those two occasions? I've often steered clear of Black Friday aside from sharing the odd code from a brand I love BUT I'm thinking that maybe you'd like to see a little more? Please let me know if you'd like to see anything in particular? Perhaps a shopping list style post? Or maybe a shopping my wardrobe featuring pieces that have been discounted? Once again please do let me know.

And so yes, quite the catch up, brain fart of a blog post today... I hope you don't mind that. I'd love to hear your answers to my questions including what you think of today's look. If you've watched my recent trend videos (here and here) you'll know that this look contains THREE of this seasons key trends, which is always fabulous, particularly when it happens accidentally. OTT headwear, punky checks and bold florals are three of the trends that I am truly loving this season and this look is going to be rocked a heck load this winter (with tights and a scarf ofc) and can even take me through into spring, happy days!
