BLAZER & SHORTS- M&S, SHIRT- VINTAGE, SHOES- IRREGULAR CHOICE, BAG- c/o MULBERRY

For the first time this series is living up to it's name "The Last Month Or So..." because this certainly is from the last month or so, in fact the past two months (or so)... Whoops!
It's taken me a while to get round to getting these rolls of film developed but alas, better late than never hey. I LOVE how much you love these posts, almost (teehee) as much as I love putting them together. It's so nice to use a different form of photography, mainly for the excitement that comes with getting each roll developed but also for the complete candid nature in which they are taken. There's no time to worry if the light is right, if it's perfectly framed or if my eyes are open. It's simply about snapping in the moment and hoping for the best which is what I LOVE so much about shooting with film.
We have a lot going on in this post from the Cosmopolitan Influencer Awards where I was nominated for Influencer of The Year by you guys, THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH! We have Neighbourhood Festival, My mum's birthday, some summer snaps from a walk in the park and finally a trip to York with the gang. I hope you enjoy.

I bloody love these three and their choices of footwear 😉

Totally obsessed with these photos of my beautiful family. I'm on the look out for a landscape frame with two sides to it, if you have seen any please do send them my way.

Heaton Park is one of the most amazing places in Manchester, I feel so lucky to have grown up in this park and to still be having the most beautiful times with our babies Peter & Nancy. I mean, just look at how happy P is!!!

Manchester remembered those who were taken away from us on May 22nd two years ago. Notes such as "Stay Strong Our Kid" covered the city and made me so proud once again to be a Manc.
The brunch to the right is at Federal, my absolute fave brunch joint in Manchester, I'm working on a guide to Manchester currently but if you can't wait then head to my very first IGTV video that launched last night to find "How To Spend a Day In Manchester" it was so fun to film and I can't wait to create more.

Before we headed to York for the weekend, Amy came over to Manchester and we shot for National BFF day with Accesorize, it's ALWAYS so much fun working with Amy and of course we went on to have the best weekend in York with our boos. Head to this post here to see more from the shoot.

We had a full on tourist day in York, hiking up the York Minster, lunch at the famous Betty's and exploring the city in the rain.

These photos are beautiful. I’m sorry if you have answered this already somewhere but what camera do you use?
Thanks Grace. I use the Olympus Mju II camera with Porta 400 film x
I love this type of post – it evokes such a warm, intimate feeling! I’d love to start experimenting with film photography. It has such a different effect than digital and creates a really beautiful aesthetic. Like you said, it forces you to be in the moment rather than constantly fussing over whether the lighting or backdrop is perfect!
