What a weekend!
Launching the Saturday By Megan Ellaby T-Shirt's at long last and boy does it feel good! The response to the first collection of tee's has been totally mind blowing and it all feels so damn great to finally have them out in the world for you to purchase ๐ I've been working on these designs since Christmas, in fact I remember really vividly lying on my living room floor, with my sketch book, doodling my designs whilst watching Bohemian Rhapsody (for the 2736287589345 time) as the Christmas tree lights flickered away, so yeah, it's been a while and it feels so good to have them out there.
Today is the turn of Dana, having already had a closer look at Lennie & Amy which you can read more of here and here, today I thought we'd look into one of the ringer fit T-Shirt's in the collection. Dana is named after my beautiful mamma, the most special woman in all the land <3

T-SHIRT- SATURDAY BY MEGAN ELLABY, JACKET- c/o H&M, JEANS- URBAN OUTFITTERS, TRAINERS- CONVERSE, SUNGLASSES- GUCCI

I've always loved ringer fit T-Shirts, the retro connotations, the figure flatting shape and also the fact they usually come with something super fun emblazoned across the front of them. I knew that a ringer fit or two had to featured within the collection to satisfy my love for the 1970s and after learning how much you loved pink and green together after the success of this jumper (just one left btw) I knew exactly which photo to look to for inspiration.

This photo of Mick Jagger has been something that I've loved for many, many years and a photograph I knew I wanted to take from for this initial collection. In steps the Dana tee with it's green tipping to the collar and the sleeves paying homage to none other than Mr Jagger himself.
The green combined with the ringer fit and of course the Saturday clam motif across the front makes for a retro finish and a piece that you lot are absolutely loving having already sold out of size XS! (I wear a size small btw)

Made from the same super soft cotton as the rest of the collection, Dana is a great addition to your wardrobe if like me, you look to the past for style inspiration.
She looks amazing tucked into an A-Line skirt but also super cool when paired with jeans and Converse for a really relaxed, "I just threw this on" look.

Hello Megan! I love your T-shirt line, my favorite being the Ringer fits (particularly the Dana since the print is so cool and pink and green is my favorite colour combo). It’s super cute how each Tee is named after a woman you love ๐ So sweet!
Oh Madeline, I’m so thrilled that you love the T-Shirt’s ๐ I adore the Dana too, she’s such a lil cutie xx
