So here we have another month or so on film that I thought would be nice to share! I'm absolutely loving these rather relaxed posts where I just allow the images to speak for themselves. I'd really love to continue doing these on a monthly basis however I seem to have misplaced my sodding film camera. I blame the bank holiday weekend, small handbags and perhaps one too many gin&tonics damn it! But I'll be replacing it very soon I have no doubt.
But anyway this past month or so has been hella busy, what with the launch of a new piece from Saturday By Megan Ellaby which has since sold out...MENTAL! Lots of work, a trip to Marrakech which you can see more of here, and tonnes of time with the family which you'll see throughout this post. Where possible I've linked the pieces featured but really these type of posts just act as a lil photo diary of what I've been up to. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this side of things.
Thanks so much for all the kind words on the new blog design, I'm really bloody chuffed with it and so glad that you love it too.
Lotsa love
x M

I am 5 again in my Kickers.

Family <3

Got myself some new nails which may well be the best yet. I'm working on a nail art blog post which I'll update with all my designs, I'm excited.

I am obsessed with this Essential Antwerp parka with it's huge glitzy heart across the back, it's going to be so perfect for festival season. I may also be wearing an upcoming Saturday T-shirt design here too ๐

More beautiful times with my beautiful family <3

A couple of BTS shots from the latest Saturday By Megan Ellaby campaign and ecommerce shoot, they're always such fun days shooting with Rosie & Faye.

Absolutely LOVING this warmer weather, even if it is chucking it down as I'm writing this... I'm also absolutely loving Sezane at the moment; they're one of my favourite brands and I just LOVE working with them each month. They're so fab at doing Summer, like SO fab, this blouse is a current fave.

Caught up with an old uni friend Joe in Liverpool and it was as if the past 4 years hadn't happened, just glorious! I love it when you catch up with old friends and you start where you left off. He's an angel!

My managers Zara and Lois from Gleam came up for a visit and I made them pose with some statues...

DEAD :')

Beyond jealous of my cousins Gucci trainers!

The dogs have been going on group dog walks with a dog trainer lately and it's doing wonders for them. They've always been a little nervous around other dogs and this has really helped. He sends me videos after every walk and I could cry with pride! Here's Nancy looking all kinds of cute outside the pub.

My beautiful Mamma rocking the Saturday Star Arm knit <3 My biggest cheerleader, she's fab.

Love this post a lot – film/family/friends! I’ve just bought some more film, inspired me to get out this weekend and take some more pics. there’s something so beautiful about film that you just can’t get with digital! I love that you continue to use film in your work
TOTALLY agree with you babe. It’s the candid nature, the lack of time to stress about the image being “perfect” it’s raw and real and thats what I love about shooting on film! Thank you gorgeous x
Megan!!! Hahaha love this post despite my debut on your blog being more than questionable ” :’) ” is right
HAHAHAH! They’re my fave photos ever! Hilarious! x
Definitely keep these posts coming, they’re really fun to read ๐ And wow never thought I’d be excited about a nail art post, but I sure am!! Big fan of the red and pink combo, and the gray and yellow one from a few posts ago.
I love the last picture too, the glasses are awesome and fit you really well.

Love this more visual diary-style post just showing us what you’ve been up to! The shots are so beautiful and candid and I really like that.
Ahhh thanks Madelyn the candid aspect is what I totally adore about shooting on film, there’s no chance to stress over the perfect light or composition, it’s just fun and exciting! Thanks gorgey x
Pleeeeeese talk to us about the shirt under the jacket in the last photo, such a fab look! xx
HI megan! Would time telling me what camera you use? I have an old film camera from the 60s but it just seems impossible to get a decent picture out of it, too old maybe? It seems to me the shutterspeed is just so slow, but it doesnt get any faster. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! I just love film, there’s something oh so authentic about it.
Love what you do!
It’s simply an Olympus Mju II so seriously easy to use. x
