I thought I'd start utilising some of the gorgeous images that I shoot in more spotlight specific posts. Once a blogpost has been and gone it seems such a shame that those images are lost to the vast abundance of blogposts I've written in the last six years. So here we have the first in that style of post, today I'm looking at the best high street bags that are on the market right now.
I must admit that throughout the time I've been buying my own clothing, high street handbags have always left me a little underwhelmed which I think is where my love for luxury handbags has come from. However, very recently I've seen a shift in what the high street has to offer when it comes to arm candy and I've found I'm investing less in luxury bags in favour of a high street inspired and lets face it, purse friendly option.
Last summer saw the start of this and it followed me into the colder months too so I thought I'd share with you my favourite spots for shopping high street handbags including some of my faves on the market right now. As long as you do your research beforehand I think it's really easy to shop a designer inspired piece on the high street, for example the bags of the moment are either monogrammed, beaded, perspex or checked and the high street have certainly picked up on that as you'll see from my picks below. I hope you enjoy this post, do let me know your thoughts as always.

THE BEST OF THE REST

I love browsing new bags, I’ve always favoured high street as I don’t wear leather and I worry about damaging something expensive. You totally got me into the beaded bags recently.
I have my eye on a couple of bags but each time this happens I think about storage! Where do you keep all of your bags? Is there a technique to storage as my current one is shove them all in one drawer -_- fairly tidy but not practical. x
Hey Megan! I really enjoyed this article, it’s so nice to see a compilation of pictures from several posts. I agree with you, it’s a shame they are only used once and then we move on to the next post. This structure gives a lot of possibilities, I’d love to see the same post for shoes, maybe sunglasses, earrings etc high-street or luxury 🙂
Ahhh that is such great news!!! I’m really glad you liked it. It was something a little bit different I guess 🙂 x
