I can’t believe that this is my last blog post before Christmas, how bonkers is that.
I’m officially in the Christmas zone after a gorgeous break in the French Alps with Gee (see more here) and returning home to my beautiful festive home and the Christmas big shop arriving… Hurrah to all the festive food!
I thought I’d finish up before Christmas nice and early as this time around I plan to take a bit of time off which is nice.
I’m going to officially shut up shop tomorrow (Friday 21st) and don’t plan to get back to the nitty gritty until 3rd Jan, how divine is that! I truly hope many of you are all able to do the same but a HUGE THANK YOU and big Christmas cuddle to those who aren't able to, you're ace!
Now many of you might be thinking that this lil festive outfit is a tad late in the game, Christmas work do’s have been and gone and it’s only 5 days until the big day (BONKERS!) But alas, for me, the majority of my festive outings occur after Christmas and between New Year. Apart from a couple of nights out that I have this weekend, the real parties begin next week so this outfit, in my humble opinion is just in time!
It’s another suit situation for me, my absolute go-to getup for instantly feeling fabulous! As I’ve said countless times before, there really is nothing that makes me feel more powerful than a two piece suit. But as well as that, I find a suit to be SO seriously versatile too.
Wear it together, wear it separately. Wear it with a top underneath, go cheeky and wear it alone. Wear it with your favourite party heels or wear it with trainers. These little tweaks allow what was once a truly formal piece of clothing to become something new entirely, and thats why I just LOVE rocking a suit for both party season and for those more casual occasions alike.

Now, don’t get me wrong I know this suit packs a punch.
It’s not exactly a look that will be forgotten about quickly, what with it’s monochromatic polka dot print and OTT feather trim. But I’m all about maximalism at this time of year and if there’s one box this suit ticks it’s certainly that of maximalism, making it the perfect little festive number indeed!
I must admit, I’ve already worn this look twice this festive season and plan to do so again before the season is out, perhaps next time with an oversized white shirt, hair tied back and with some seriously sparkly drop earrings, now doesn’t that sound fabulous!
Due to it being so monochromatic it means that the styling possibilities are pretty much endless. You can go all out on the chic factor, sticking with the monochrome palette or throw in a pop of colour, the way I like to (of course) with a statement bag. Aside from the suit and the clashing of the prints with the striped crop top, the accessories here really are summin special!
The pop of pink with the velvet bag works to add a touch of fun to the look, not to mention throwing in another festive texture. Layer up on the gold jewellery, throw in some hair slides and your fave heels, mine are by Miu Miu and one of the best purchases of the year FYI, and you've got yourself a pretty epic party look dontcha think?

How would you style this bad boy? I'd REALLY love to know.
But thats enough about party dressing (for now) I'm going to slowly start to wind down. I'm SO excited for a break at home, it's my favourite time of break as everyone is off so it's completely guilt free relaxing time which is always nice. I want to read a book or two, I want to finish season 4 of How To Get Away With Murder which has FINALLY come onto Netflix and I want to have some much needed time away from the internet which I am thrilled about I must say.
I'm SO excited to spend some quality time with my gorgeous family and friends, playing tonnes of board games and eating ALL THE CHEESE and to completely switch off for a week or two!
What do you have planned?
I'm such a sucker for this time of year and despite it coming around a little to quickly for my liking, I'm finally in the festive spirit and SO excited for whats to come. Which reminds me, I haven't watched a single Christmas film yet, this must change ASAP!

Well, thats me, over and out for Christmas. I hope you enjoyed this post and I would love to hear of any styling ideas you have for this suit as I intend to get some serious action out of it this season and beyond. Have the most amazing Christmas with you loved ones. Love, laugh, eat, drink and dance A LOT! And I’ll see you next week for a look thats perfect for New Years Eve along with my yearly recap.
Thanks for everything this year you lot!
Lotsa love
