Are your alarms set for 9am on Saturday kids!? I bloody hope they are!
Hearing that the Spice Girls are reuniting with a UK tour is the best news I've heard in a really, really long time and I've not been this excited for a show for even bloody longer! I never got the chance to see the five piece girl band who were my absolute idols back when I was a little girl so you can bet your bottom dollar that I'm going to have every device with internet access that I own logged into Ticket Master come 8am on Saturday.
*And breathe*
I've never had much luck with nabbing those sought after tickets so please, if you have any tips and tricks then please do let me know, I NEED my Spice Girl fix!
Anyhoo, this week has been a bit of a slow burner I must say. Having arrived home from the US on Friday evening it was nice to relax back into home life over the weekend and to have a steady week of work, especially as the entirety of October was spent running around like a headless chicken with a million and one things on my to-do list and therefore with many a sleepless night. I've written countless blogposts (hurrah I'm finally ahead of myself) filmed and edited a fair few videos, shot some new blog content with the delightful Rosie Butcher, caught up with friends and family and just about managed to finalise some exciting new pieces to the Saturday By Megan Ellaby family. So all in all a pretty productive week but a down sight more relaxed than it's predecessors, thank the lord.

As Rosie and I only shot on Tuesday this week, I'm yet to get the shots back so thought I'd share some unseen snaps from a recent collaboration I did with Parisian brand ba&sh. It was a collaboration solely for Instagram, so this post is by no means sponsored, but I thought it seemed a shame to let some rather fabulous photographs go to waste, so here we are with three looks in one post. Each look is perfect for AW18, featuring textures in abundance, pops of colour and those kind of key pieces that we all need in our wardrobes this season and every cold season to be fair.

This first look is one of my fave looks in a while and this post is working as a mental note to 100% wear again very, very soon.
Oversized jumpers such as this are always a winner in my book at this time of year; there's something so cosy, so homely and so damn comfortable about them that I find myself gravitating towards them when the cold weather hits. This electric blue shade by ba&sh is really rather something indeed and is actually one of my all time favourite colours, which you'll already know as I chose to design my own "Oh So" knit in this exact shade. It's one of those colours that suits so many different skin types and hair colours and just connotes vibrancy and positivity whenever I spy it.
Teamed here with the most DIVINE silver leather skirt which is an absolute must-have this party season and beyond. As you can see, it lends itself perfectly to more casual styling such as this, but pair with a black silk cami with lace trim and an oversized Prince of Wales check blazer and a pair of killer velvet platforms and you've got yourself the perfect party look.
But if platforms aren't your bag then fear not, these boots are the most comfortable boots that have graced my feet in quite some time so whether you're after a pair of winter boots for the office or for the dance floor these are an absolute no brainer.

Next up is a look I feel Sporty Spice would be hella into for a slightly more dressy occasion AMIRIGHT!?
Combining a silk bomber jacket with the most divine ruched detailing to the sleeves and a touch of Oxblood to the waistband and cuffs with a vintage inspired salt & pepper grey T-Shirt and the dreamiest leg lengthening trousers that can be styled up or down in a plethora of different ways.
A look like this is always my go-to for those smart casual occasions at this time of year.
My social calendar seems to heat up a little bit as we get closer to the big day (25th December) so be warned, this kind of look will be on regular rotation from here on out.

And finally, a little slice of sixties heaven with this totally beaut babydoll dress in the most gorgeous teal green shade it's a no brainer at this time of year.
Whether you wear it alone like this or layer up the glitz with statement jewellery, fish net tights and hair accessories aplenty, once again ba&sh have created a truly versatile piece that can be taken from office to dance floor with just a few easy yet totally clever styling touches.
Which is your fave?
