Well hello there and welcome to another week of style posts.
I appreciate that last week I was only able to give you the one style post and I am SO sorry about that. Time quite literally got away from me and before I knew it, it was Thursday morning and I was hobbling out of my first ever personal training session having just vommed up my morning coffee... Attractive (more on that some other time) So yes, sorry for the lack of posting last week but I have SO many gorgeous looks to share with you this week that I think y'all gonna love, kicking things off with this absolute beauty!
This has got to be one of my favourite looks in a very, very long time! I've mentioned a few times over the years that sometimes, you just slip into a dress that is just "you" in every way, shape and form. A dress that leaves you wondering how you ever got through life without it. Feast your eyes on my most recent of said items; An item that screams my name and makes me feel like the best version of myself.
The dress is question is by Rixo London, a relatively new brand on my radar but a brand that I find myself squealing at with each and every piece that they release. Rixo sure as heck know how to do a print! And most importantly of all, Rixo know how to combine vintage flair with modernity, something I find very inspiring indeed.
As soon as I spied the must-have brand of the minute on Instagram I knew I needed a little piece of the action for myself, and my goodness this dress, The Lulu silk mini dress, did not disappoint.
I opted for my usual size which is a size small and it fits like a glove. Sculpting my curves and skirting over my hips and thighs in a way I could only dream of. It is tailored to perfection and of course, not to mention the INSANE colourful printed silk!

I've not been this obsessed with a print in quite some time I must say. The print, inspired by that of Matisse is like nothing I've seen in a long time and I simply adore how the colourful print is against a black base, which works to tone it down ever so slightly, making it all the more wearable indeed. The Lulu Mini dress comes fit with ruffled cuffs and a neck tie for the ultimate seventies inspired get-up. It's a dress I adore to wear and already cannot wait to wear some more, a piece that will stay in my wardrobe for many seasons to come and will hopefully prove to be a style failsafe in my wardrobe.

DRESS- RIXO c/o NET-A-PORTER, SUNGLASSES- RAY BAN- c/o SUNGLASSES SHOP, BAG- PRADA c/o NET-A-PORTER, BOOTS- TOPSHOP

The colours within the print allow me to rock it with my favourite accessories combo of the minute; The RayBan Ja Jo sunglasses and Prada Cahier bag, something I discussed in this post here. Hot pink is a colour I'm gravitating towards quite often recently thanks to that of the Prada Cahier bag, aka my baby. It works surprisingly well and really rather seamlessly with my wardrobe and I'm seriously enjoying adding that little bit of sass to many an outfit combination.
Hot pink and bold as brass accessories aside, I simple couldn't discuss the finishing touches of an outfit without mentioning the shoes.
The Topshop sock boots have quite frankly changed my boot game forever! I've been on the hunt for the perfect heeled black ankle boot for quite some time now, a boot that provides both comfort and a little bit of height, that isn't unflattering in height on the ankle and that sits, snug, against it. The Topshop May Sock Boots give me all of the above and tick all of the boxes when it comes to the perfect ankle boot for both evening looks and more casual day get-ups. If, like me you're on a voyage to the perfect heeled ankle boot, then I suggest you check out these babies as you certainly will not be disappointed.

So there we have another winning combination, probably my favourite of combinations in a long while. What do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts on the dress and whether you too, are obsessing over all things Rixo right now? Or perhaps you've just heard of them? I'd LOVE to hear what you think, and whilst you're at it, do let me know what your failsafe, winning outfit combination is.
Have a belting week and see you on Thursday
