Oh what a crazy few weeks it's been.
I've been travelling quite a lot lately and I have to say, I'm surprisingly absolutely loving it.
I love to travel as much as anyone, but I've always enjoyed coming home at the end of a trip, usually opting for trips that allow me to have 2 weeks at home in between. However, that isn't always doable, which has been just the case for me over the past few weeks. And with that I've completely thrown myself into travelling and have in-turn absolutely LOVED it!
I've been to Lisbon, to York, Newcastle, London, Paris and Glasgow in the past 10 days alone and, whilst not all of them are too far away, travelling in any form can be exhausting, but oh so totally fun all the same.
We're actually heading away again tomorrow, with another couple of trips taking place in July, August and September too, I am excited beyond words and completely grateful for each and every opportunity that comes our way.
But anyway, travelling spiel out of the way, now for our whirlwind trip to Paris last week with The Kooples!!!
I add THREE exclamation marks after that sentence as it's a total pinch me moment thats for sure. The Kooples have been one of my all time favourite brands ever since I saw their very first "...Have been a couple for four years" campaign in every single magazine (do you remember it?) a few years ago, and that love has grown year in year out with each and every collection they release.
There is something about The Kooples that combines Parisian design with the UK's rock & roll attitude that really resonates with George and I alike, so to be invited out to Paris for an exciting launch event was one of those "HELL YES" opportunities that's for sure.
Paris is one of my favourite cities in all the world and I'm finding myself becoming quite the expert when it comes to navigating my way through the Parisian streets, so to return with George and one of my fave brands was a complete dream come true.

We were in Paris for the launch of Puma x The Kooples trainers, a seriously sleek design combining the classic Puma Clyde style with The Kooples androgynous rock & roll touch.
George and I both opted for the white style (they come in black too), a complete must have; a pair of trainers that work with everything, the versatility is unprecedented, however with that classic rock and roll nod with the The Kooples signature metal skull placed on the heel.
As well as being oh so totally cool and versatile they're also extremely comfortable too, as George and I opted to rock them for a full day of exploring in Paris. The perfect pair of trainers for your summer travels I would say.
For the launch of the event we were invited out to Paris for a night of fun. An intimate dinner, cocktail reception and party at the show of American singer/song writer Angel Olsen. It was such an awesome launch event and such a total honour to have been one of the only British couples to attend.

George and I, of course, chose to rock head-to-toe The Kooples for the event, with George opting for this killer blue two piece suit, a piece that he looked absolutely drop dead gorgeous in, something I think you will all agree with. He then selected a printed shirt with a rounded peter pan collar in complimenting blue hues. Adding his own rock and roll touch with a fedora, we felt it was the perfect way to rock the trainers, showing just how versatile they are, even with formal wear.
Going hand-in-hand (quite literally) with my boy, I selected this divine printed pyjama suit by The Kooples. A gorgeous tile print in jewel tones with florals scattered throughout, it's an absolutely BEAUTIFUL piece that can be worn together, as I have here, broken up by a layered lace cropped camisole and loosely tucked into the drawstring trousers, or alone.
I can't wait to rock the trousers with a slouchy white tee, or the shirt with an A-line skirt for the ultimate summery get up.
Someone commented on my Instagram shot of the look saying how the trainers completely made the look, and I couldn't agree with them more. The trainers add a real laid-back, "I don't give a damn" cool girl vibe, which is something we all like to try and achieve from time to time.

Whilst in Paris we were lucky enough to shoot with the awesome Renata again; she's becoming my go-to buddy whilst in Paris (you might remember these shots from my last trip) and I am SO thrilled with how the shots turned out. Renata had a vision to have George at the forefront, the dominating character of the shots, and I am totally obsessed with how the images of George and I walking turned out! AND the shots of George in the background looking on at me, I mean, how awesome are they!
Huge thanks to The Kooples for having us in Paris and congrats on such a wonderful launch with Puma. And massive thanks to beautiful Renata for having such a clear vision and bringing it to reality, making us look a hell of a lot cooler than we actually are (ha)
