Jewellery, oh beautiful, wonderful jewellery.
We all have those pieces that are oh-so sentimental to us and that we wear on a day-to-day basis; but I must say, that I’ve only really found my love for it in the past year or so.
I’ve always worn jewellery in some sense of the word, however it’s been the odd ring here, the occasional necklace there, but in recent months I’ve really got my flow when it comes to accessorising with jewellery.
A number of you have noticed this too, which is oh-so wonderful and therefore this blogpost is for you.
You asked to hear where the jewels I adorn my fingers, neck and wrist with (I haven’t quite got there with ears just yet) so I thought I’d go through my back catalogue of imagery and pull together a complete guide to jewellery. The pieces that mean the most to me, the pieces I wear on a day-to-day basis and the pieces that I simply couldn’t be without.
So lets kick things off with neckwear.
Every single day I adorn my neck with a beautiful Swarovski necklace (unfortunately not pictured but check out my YouTube in which it is ALWAYS on show) which features a stunning star pendant in black crystals, and you know what stars do to me now don’t you. I was kindly sent this piece around Christmas time as a lovely little gift from the team at Swarovski and since then haven’t taken it off. It’s a piece that I sleep in and shower in which is probably not all that good for it but it’s shaping up just wonderfully. I find this necklace is totally delicate and truly beautiful, however adds a beautiful touch with more simple looks and layered underneath a choker for the ultimate in statement neckwear.

ROSE GOLD CIRCLE RING- NOVO, ROSE GOLD RUBY STACKING RING- ASOS, BALL RING- WONDERLUST & CO, M INITIAL RING- DAISY, STAR & MOON RING- DAISY, ROSE GOLD DOT RING- MATTHEW CALVIN

Now for my bracelets.
I’ve had both of these pieces for around two years now which is completely bonkers indeed; And I must say, I’m really rather proud of myself for not having lost either of them in that time.
When I first received them I wore them on and off for a couple of months before putting them away for the entirety of my time in London, only rekindling my love for them this year and now I never, ever take them off my wrists.
They’re both by Monica Vinader and are both beautifully inscribed with Pages By Megan on the gold bracelet and Megan on the other.
I’ll start with the gold one as it’s the piece I’ve had for the longest time.
Monica Vinader kindly sent it to me when I had my all important blog rebrand around two years ago now and I was totally blown away with both how generous and how beautiful the piece was. It’s part of their friendship bracelet collection, what with it’s rope detailing; however this is a friendship bracelet with a twist due to the stunning 18ct gold bangle. A bracelet in this style would truly make the most perfect of gifts and I’m already putting out the feelers with George for a silver version… Wink, wink, nudge, nudge Georgey Boy!
The rose gold bracelet is a fully metal piece and features a somewhat dimpled metal affect. This time the inscription is on the underside of the bracelet, which is a shame, but still just as special. I really love the way both of these bracelets look together and can’t wait to build them up some more; I’m SO happy to have finally found something to grace my wrists with, it means Birthday’s and Christmas’ just got a whole lot easier for the famalam.

STAR RING- SWAROVSKI, EVIL EYE BRACELET- SWAROVSKI, DOUBLE BALL RING- WANDERLUST & CO, M INITIAL RING- DAISY, STAR & MOON RING- DAISY, ROSE GOLD DOT RING- MATTHEW CALVIN
And now for the rings, oh the rings!
Where oh where do I start with the rings.
It’s gotten to the point now where I simply don’t feel like me unless at least four of my ten fingers are laced in rings. I’m really into stacking them up and layering different pieces to create different looks on a day to day basis.
I won’t go into detail on each and every ring as I’ll be here all flipping day, however I have annotated some of the images above so you know exactly what I’m referring to and where to find them.
When it comes to costume jewellery that won’t turn your fingers green I like to go for Bill Skinner and Daisy London. I was even lucky enough to front the campaign for Daisy London last summer if you remember (see this post here). Similarly, Bill Skinner have been my go-tos for that all important finger candy.
The horse ring that I am forever wearing on my index finger came into my life when I was working at ASOS and it has to be my most favourite of rings, yet unfortunately long since sold out. I love how statement it is; looking totally bad-ass on it’s own but working wonderfully when paired with others too. It’s a real talking point and the one I get the most compliments and questions about… That’s what jewellery is all about, it’s about catching the eye.
I love the stacking rings available at Daisy, the M initial ring stacked against the crescent moon and star ring have fast become a part of me and is without a doubt my fave of ring combinations.

I then always seem to wear my Now-Seen band, which is a brand that is sadly no more, however this ring features silver, gold AND copper and therefore satisfies all my mixed metal needs. I’ve always been a little funny when it comes to mixing metals, so pieces like this really are great to curb the OCD within me. I then layer that with a ring that was passed down from my Nanna to my momma and then stolen by me… Yeah really! I spied it when I was around 15 and have held onto it ever since… Sorry mum, but it just means oh so much to me, the fact that it was once worn by my two favourite ladies, making me smile every time I look down at it. Speaking of sentimental pieces, in steps this super cute ruby, rose gold stacker that was given to me as a gift by my sister Faye, jewellery is so special when it is presented to you by those you love. Thats only something I’ve realised as of late, but I think I’ll be gifting jewellery to those I love from now on, the sentiment is just beyond special.

And I think thats about it.
I could go on for days about my ring collection I really could, and I intend to add a number of other styles to my collection very, very soon indeed.
I’ve linked to each of the pieces available above, however if you’re a jewellery fiend like me, take a look at some of the pieces I’m eyeing up below too… You never know, you might be able to wink, wink, nudge, nudge someone too 😉
x M
P.S please do let me know where you get your jewellery fix, I'd love to add some all new brands to my radar.
