Hey, Hi, How are ya!?
I hope you've all had a bloody wonderful weekend. Mine was spent chilling the F out after what was a kerazy week indeed.
Following London Fashion Week I was lucky enough to attend The freaking BRIT Awards!
I've watched the BRITs religiously every single year for as long as I can remember.
I have the fondest memories of getting home from school and being beside myself with excitement, before snuggling up on the sofa with my mum and sister ready for a night of our favourite pop stars.
So, to have actually been invited along to attend The BRIT Awards was quite honestly a pinch me moment to say the least; and to attend with George in tow... Well lets just say it was a pretty perfect evening indeed.
I was kindly invited down by the wonders at Zalando, a brand you lot know I LOVE working with, to report live from the red carpet!
I was stood amongst some of the best names in music and television from, Ed Sheeran, Lianne La Havas, Rag n Bone Man, Little Mix, The 1975 and Blossoms, who all strutted their stuff down the red carpet with little ole me at the end snapping away...CRAZY right!?
Zalando also kindly kitted me out in this bad-ass get-up for the evening so I think it's only fair to start with that, AMIRITE?

When doing a little research on what people wear to The BRIT Awards it was clear that really anything goes. From floor length gowns, to cocktail dresses, even to trainers, The BRIT Awards is that one awards ceremony where you're really able to champion any look you want.
Which of course made it even harder to decide upon a look.
Luckily Zalando aren't lacking in options and I was quickly sold upon this little get up.
I knew from previous swanky affairs (LOL who am I?) that I felt best when opting for tailoring, so first on my hit list was to find the perfect blazer, which was surprisingly easier than expected. I found this beautiful, oversized, metallic baby within minutes of logging onto the Zalando website... BINGO!
I've worn a lot of suits recently, and although I feel awesome in them, I didn't want to become a one look wonder, so thought I'd select a mini skirt to mix things up a little and to team with my safety blanket blazer.
I am honestly TOTALLY obsessed with all things Tommy Hilfiger right now so when I learnt that the all new GiGi Hadid x Tommy Hilfiger range was available on Zalando I just had to have a slice of the action. In steps the worlds most perfect leather A-Line skirt... Another failsafe friend of mine. This time in a delicious hi-shine navy with gold popper fastenings, two failsafes in one look, I could get used to this kind of styling!

To dress the look down ever so slightly I opted for a really cute slogan tee and Sonia Rykiel Shopper Bag; vamping it up a notch or two with some killer Pinko Heels, which might I add were truly comfortable indeed.
The result? An absolutely killer combo with all the right rock & roll feels, perfect for attending a music awards ceremony!
Throw in my usual messy (and some what greasy... Oops) waves and a vampy eye and lip combo and I was ready to hit up the O2.

So now it's time to discuss the outfits of the acts in attendance.
Now for me, there was a clear winner here and it came in the form of four absolute MEGA BABES.... Yes, you guessed it, Little Mix. They rocked all the "more is more" vibes with leather corsets, feathers, denim AND satin, a real show stopper to say the least. I truly love those girls and everything they represent and they certainly did not disappoint in the style stakes either.
Lianne La Havas opted for embroidered lace, whilst Fearne Cotton surprisingly chose head-to-toe black with a ruffle lace maxi skirt, and the Christine And The Queens front woman Heloise Letissier went for all the androgynous feels; it was a complete mix of styles from each of them, which was of course, extremely inspiring for me.
When it came to the men, naturally I ADORED everything Stockport's Blossom boy's were rocking, whilst Simon Neil of Biffy Clyro went for a rather interesting red cape get up which I just have to salute him for... What a guy! However, Rag n Bone Man stole the show for me, rocking a checked blazer and clashing it with paisley print and topping it off with a thick gold chain, V cool indeed.

After the red carpet we hot-footed it to our seats ready for the show to start.
Little Mix opened the show and absolutely NAILED IT! I felt strangely proud of the four-piece, doing it for all the weirdo's out there and showing exactly what it means to support your fellow girlies. Their acceptance speech after winning the award for "Best Song of 2017" with "Shout Out To My Ex" brought a little tear to my eye, I felt like their bloody mother.
The 1975 stole the show for me with their hit song "The Sound" accompanied by a HUGE choir, it was pretty damn epic indeed.
Tributes to the late George Michael and David Bowie had me crying once more, with Bowie's son Duncan Jones accepting the late great's award for "Best Album"

I attended The BRITs!!! That is something I never, ever thought I'd be saying and I am so truly grateful to Zalando for sending me and of course dressing me for the big do. George and I had such a truly wonderful evening and I really enjoyed sharing it all with you. Did you guys watch The BRITs? Who's outfit slayed it for you? And which was your fave performance? I'd LOVE to hear your thoughts.
