Party season is officially here! 'Tis the season to be jolly and all that kind of caper.
Spirits are high and we go "out out" more in one month than we do all year... Well I seem to anyway.
I truly love this time of year, when sequins and embellishments are all we seem to wear both on our bodies, on our nails, on our faces and in our hair... Style and make-up has an injection of Christmas sparkle and the same goes for our homes.
It's my favourite time of year for all things festive. I completely adore getting dolled up every weekend to ensure I get to see different groups of friends and family before the 25th hits. I also truly love giving my home a touch of Christmas sparkle, I mean who doesn't? Here at Casa Del Chip, we've had our tree up since November... Slightly premature I know, but I simply adore Christmas and I thought seeing as the Christmas candles, the festive bedding and tonnes of new winter textures had already been added to our little Mancunian flat then why not go all out ey?
This post is in collaboration with Christy, a homeware brand that is known for it's exquisite towels and bedding and this Christmas they've gotten all festive up in here having been oh-so inspired by the beautiful ballet, The Nutcracker.
To celebrate such a thang, I donned my very own Nutcracker inspired ensemble and brought out my festive tutu, albeit a black one but I like to call this my grunge-cracker look (LOL)
I wore this with a touch of Christmas sparkle with of course a star print crop top and some totes festive metallic accessories for a girls night out this December.
Last week I brought to you three festive party dressing looks and with that, here I bring to you my festive get-unready-with-me routine.

I really enjoyed wearing this outfit for a festive night on the tiles, it was the perfect party get-up, what with the tulle of the skirt, the sequins of the crop top and of course that bloody epic block heel on these shoes by Kat Maconie... OH SO COMFORTABLE!
I'd gone for quite a heavy make up look too just to ensure that it would last a night of dancing, so there really is nothing like getting home... Albeit at 2am.

Before I divulge you in my post night out beauty regime I thought I'd quickly draw your attention to this years festive bedding of choice. Now, I'm not one for novelty Christmas sheets I must say... Novelty everything else sure, but not when it comes to my home.
I prefer a more classic look to my bed and this year, is the most luxurious my bed has ever looked!
Everyone who has recently visited has asked whether our bed always looks like this or if we've done it solely for them... Alas, it's true, our bed ALWAYS looks like that of a hotel, it's just the way I like it, especially now we have some truly stunning sheets to dress our bed with.
First up we have the beautiful Christy Isabelle Bed Linen; a truly sensational jacquard in a really chic light grey shade. It has a real lustrous sheen to it that makes it seem oh so fancy and completely perfect for this time of year.
The linen is honestly the most beautiful linen I've ever had at home and it makes getting into bed all the more special each and every evening... And thats coming from me, someone who LOVES her bed and someone who NEVER thought anything could make it any better... Oh how wrong I was.
Finishing off our beautiful boudoir with the Christy Paris Bed Spread and matching square pillows, it really is the most cosy our room has ever looked. Our flat is quite a dark and cosy place, the natural light is unfortunately rather sparse indeed so it really allows us to go all out on the cosy factor with dark shades such as this bed spread and cushion combo, adding in some extra texture with an emerald green velvet number or two.

The shoes are OFF as soon as I head through the door and it's now time for my evening skincare routine.
I know, I know I am one of THOSE girls who religiously, without fail will take off her make up, even when half cut (get me ey.)
The idea of waking up in the morning with the make up from the night before brings me out in hot sweats so that alone is enough for me to whack out my usual evening skincare faves, even if that is sometimes just a measly facial wipe.
First up I'll take some of the L'oreal Micealar Water on a large cotton pad and swipe this across my face. This is my pre-cleanse ritual and something I find oh so refreshing, especially after a night of heavy drinking.
To completely remove my stubborn waterproof eye make up, I'll use the L'oreal Absolute Make Up Remover for Eye & Lip... This stuff is like nothing else I've tried for completely removing Mac Liquid Last Eye Liner. It's an oil based product and is flipping marvellous. But make sure you get the EYE & LIP and not just the EYE remover as this really makes all the difference
My holy grail cleanser has got to be the Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel, a bit of a cult favourite and something I have heard oh-so much about over on YouTube. But I recently took the plunge and have honestly never seen such results. My skin looks so much healthier, and oh so glowing, with my make up sitting much more evenly and with a real flawless finish, the results I have seen thanks to this little baby are simply unreal and since discovering it for myself I've been recommending it to EVERYONE
I'll then usually combine a facial oil with the Origins Ginzing Moisturiser before throwing on my specs and giving my teeth some love.

Once suitably clean I'll hop into our beautiful bed and finish off my skincare routine with my beloved and trusty Kiehls Midnight Recovery Concentrate Facial Oil and a small amount of the QMS 24hour Cream.
Getting into a bed this glamorous really is the highlight of my night, even after an evening of dancing with my girls. Call me sad, but there really is nothing quite like bed sheets with the sophistication of these. Just like the magic of that of the Nutcracker (listen below), sheets like these are what it's all about this Christmas... Hellooooo old age.

The aesthetic of this post (and in general of your whole blog) is just astonishing, so gorgeous. Can’t go to bed with make up on either, even though when I get home at 4 in the morning there’s literally no energy left in me…
Love the bedding, how gorgeous is it to get into your room and see that amazing, big, cozy thing waiting for you?
