MERRY CHRISTMAS | SEE YOU IN THE NEW YEAR

Hello HELLO and welcome to what is the last blog post for 2016... WHAT ON EARTH!?
First up, Merry Freaking Christmas! I simply cannot believe that Christmas is here and with that comes the end of a completely cray cray year!
It's been a bloody great one for me, however with lots of heartache for some of my nearest and dearest, but I'll discuss some highlights and down points of 2016 in my first post of 2017... Now doesn't that sound strange.

Today I thought I'd share with you one of the looks I've been absolutely LOVING this winter; a look that I gravitate towards most weeks due to how down right comfortable it is whilst still being oh so sassy, colourful and fun. 
I feel I've learnt an awful lot about my style this year, all for the better of course, and I'm learning that comfort and warmth are two of the most important attributes to a look... Yeah, I know, I can't believe I'm saying that either.

Sometimes all you need in life is a bright pink fluffy jumper. A jumper that is oversized and oh so soft, combining with your favourite failsafe jeans and contrasting with a seriously loud & proud leopard print coat with clashing emerald green accents.
Tying the whole look together with a pink glitter sock and matching Converse, who said comfort had to be boring ey?

I don't know about you guys, but I've been winding down for Christmas since December hit. 
The motivation has been rather low I must admit and I feel the last two weeks or so haven't been going overly to plan. As you may have heard over in my latest weekly vlog, I recently lost a suitcase full of really gorgeous clothes and shoes, tonnes of beauty products, my beloved Stella McCartney bag and my InStyle Award... Heartbreaking stuff indeed, but hey ho these things happen. 
It was the loss of the suitcase combined with a cold, our washing machine packing in and my camera breaking, that made me give up a little earlier than planned.

Well, kind of give up. 

I've been lacking in inspiration for post and video topics for the past couple of days, so thought I should just sign off right here and right now. The last time I had some time off was in August for our lovely little week away in Santorini and I came back bursting with ideas and really excited to get back to work. So with that, I'm hoping a week or two off during the festive period is all I need to be back on top again.

I really, truly hope you understand why there will be little to no content up in here for the next week or so, but I hope even more so that you shall be doing the exact same. This time of year is the most special time of year, a time that is all about family and friends and enjoying one another completely. I have so many fun and exciting things planned and I will try ever so hard to share what I can with you over on Instagram and snapchat (mellaby), when I can, but for now let's just say PBM is shutting up shop once again. 

I say we all do the same!

I truly think we should all have at least three days out from all kinds of work and just do us. Let's revel in the time spent with our loved ones, lets eat insane amounts of roast potatoes and chocolate (not together might I add) and lets just DANCE! Dancing is a first class ticket to happiness and I completely intend to do plenty of it this Christmas time.

I'm SO excited to see what 2017 brings for us all and I can't wait to share it all with you... But first I must sleep, eat and dance my way through the festive period, who's with me?
