It's no secret that star print is my jam.
Heck, I've done a whole video on my ever expanding star print collection and let me tell you, since then it has almost doubled in size with no sign of slowing down.
I'm a star print addict, there's just something oh so playful about the print; a print that takes me straight back to my youth and reminds me of the fun and lighthearted years.
However playful the print may be, it also connotes very apposing rock & roll vibes.
I instantly think of that genre of music, the era of true rock & roll and of course David Bowie.
I think those two reasons, youth and rock & roll, are the sole reasons why I have such a great love for the print. When the two are combined it's just magic and of course, that's another thing the starry print signifies, all things mystical and magical.
At this time of year my love for the cosmic print intensifies dramatically.
This is partly due to the good ole British high street adding embellishments and glitter by the shed load to my most favourite print, and maximalism is key in absolutely everything we do, see, eat and wear.
However, it's not just OTT star print that I've been digging.
I'm really enjoying subtle takes on my favourite print through that of accessories and shoes.
Dune are a brand that have been totally nailing star print when it comes to both bags and of course footwear this season, so I've selected three of my absolute fave pairs for party season and styled them up for three different "out out" occasions, Work's Christmas Do, Girls Night Out and Date Night.
And with that, I really hope you enjoy and will seriously consider getting on the star print band wagon, as I assure you, you will not want to get off.

The first, rather wonderfully sophisticated get up is featuring the Dune Blue Moon Pointed Court Shoes and matching Clutch Bag. There's something terribly chic about a pointed court x wide leg trouser combination which acts as a real alternative take to your classic party get up.
This look, I thought was utterly perfect for a festive date night with your other half or bestie. I've teamed the oh-so cosmic court's with a two piece by Gorgeous Couture for a somewhat seventies androgynous take on the starry trend.
The stunning midnight blue shade is one of my all time favourites and usually a much needed alternative to black. I just love how streamlined the whole look is, with just a touch of sparkle when the stars peek out from underneath the flares.
I've then finished the look with my usual messy waves and a dark lip for the ultimate vampy androgynous festive look.

Dressing for your work's Christmas do is TOUGH! I've spent many a time in the lead up to the big night scouring the internet for the perfect party get up that is oh-so work colleague appropz. It's damn hard!
So with that, for the work's Christmas do look, I thought I'd keep things simple and totally classic with a good ole LBD. However, not to do things by half I OBVZ had to ensure it had some interest to it with a huge whopping satin bow and eye-lash lace detailing... Obvz!
I've mentioned before that I often start with the shoes when styling.
Selecting a pair of shoes that I just must wear that day and styling myself from the feet upwards. It's a formula that I've tried and tested and it definitely works for me in all aspects of dressing.
Take the sparkle within the Dune Orbit Heeled Ankle Boot within this look, I selected a dress with sheen in order to amplify those party vibes and to compliment the silver glitter stars within the suede boot and I happen to think that with a red lip thrown in for ultimate festive feels, I've totally nailed the work x party ratio.

Now it wouldn't be Christmas without a girlie night out, spent dancing the night away and ending the night with mascara down your face from cry-laughing with your fave babes.
For this I decided to go with a rather sensible option, 'cause there's nothing worse than having to sit and massage your feet half way through the night now is there!?
The Dune Oreon Ankle Boots have got to be one of the most comfortable ankle boots within my collection. Not only do they nail all things comfort, but they're totally gorgeous with their seriously cute star detailing in gold, silver AND copper for all your metal woes, making them the perfect choice for festive fun with your girlies.
I went for some sixties vibes with this girls night out look, and of course some metallics to nail party dressing with this River Island silver mini skirt combined with fun faux faur and satin, however, let's face it, it's the boots that totally make this look, as is often the case.
