I'm writing this, on a Saturday night, waiting for George to finish his service at his final Manchester pop up restaurant, having just about finished a bottle of Prossecco... To myself.
Well, I'm on my last glass right now anyway!
And whilst I don't condone reckless drinking (LOL who am I kidding) I do condone celebrating, even on your own when something bloody marvellous has happened.
Yes, I am going to acknowledge the elephant in the room, the elephant that you may have noticed on Friday when it was announced... I HAVE MANAGEMENT!
And not just any management, but in my eyes, the best management in this crazy world of blogging and YouTubing, Gleam Futures.
Being represented is something that you don't really hear an awful lot about and I know that outside of this weird and wonderful community people can't even comprehend that a blogger could be managed... Trust me, It's been three full days and I've already had the"What!? A blogger needs managing?" eye rolling question.
But alas, I have joined Team Gleam, and as controversial as it might be to share this information, it's something I feel is right to do. I've always been oh so honest on this blog and why would I stop now? And let me tell you this is the most honest you're ever gonna get me having just necked a bottle of prossecco in anticipation of an evening of dancing with George.
But yes, I've joined Gleam and I must say this is one of the most proudest moments of my life. To me, Gleam is the epitome of "talent" *eurgh that word* managing and after a few other offers and opportunities I decided that I wanted to hold out in the hope that Gleam would one day come knocking, so it really is a pinch me moment that they eventually did.

I know you lot know me by now to know that this isn't me bragging, not one bit, however seeing as it has been announced on their end, I thought it only right to address it on my side. This is a big moment for me and I really, truly hope that you're just as excited to see where this takes me, my blog, YouTube and US next.
Nothing is going to change around here, I'm still going to me my usual, weird, Northern self but I'm excited to challenge myself, to push some boundaries and to expand on the little world I've built by myself so far.
My blog is the thing that makes me the most proud in life, that followed by my YouTube and Instagram, but my blog is where it all started and to have a fresh set of eyes on it and my other channels, it's beyond exciting and has amplified that proud feeling to a whole new level.
Who'd have thought that this little online diary of internship woes, would have come to this? I most certainly did not when I set this up, naively thinking only myself could read it... LOL

Anyway, enough about me; that was just something I thought I should briefly mention as it's a big deal and it wouldn't feel right to not include you lot in it, but lets get down to the nitty gritty... THE OUTFIT!
This has got to be one of my favourite looks for a while; a look I feel really encompasses me and my personal style wouldn't you say? A statement coat and a ridiculous shoe combo... Well doesn't that sound familiar!
The coat, is, in fact a cape and it's a flipping wonderful one at that. It's by River Island and made from the most insanely beautiful suede EVER! Trimmed in that Almost Famous- esque Mongolian fur it's the epitome of seventies retro and I'm really enjoying styling with it lately.
It's a really lightweight piece so not at all warm making it the perfect piece for layering with knitwear during the colder months.
However, in true Megan style I was absolutely desperate to brave the cold to show off this beautiful fifties style dress by Maje. There's something oh-so fifties about it in my eyes; what with that contrast stiff collar detailing, it gives off that 50's bowling shirt style in an oh-so feminine way and I just cannot get over how beautiful yet totally grunge it is.
Grunge-ing to new levels with my Stella McCartney beauties and shockingly their very first time on PBM... I know crazy right!
But since I bought these a few months back I simply haven't taken them off my little tootsies.
They're flipping insanely comfortable and just add a little bit of Bowie to every single look, and that is something that I am OBVZ totally onboard with.

Thats all from me now, George is due home in approx twenty minutes and I have some lipstick to apply.
I truly hope you're happy for me, and I have SO much to thank you all for! This is all for you, for us and I am SO excited to see where we go next.
I know it's a lil over the top to say ILYSM but I'm tipsy af so i'm going to say it... ILYSM!
k bye.
