So last week we looked at what I’d achieved throughout summer; well, when it came down to the four goals I’d set myself anyway (read more on that here) and today I’m putting pen to paper… Or fingers to laptop keys as the case may be and I’m going to discuss some new and improved goals for the colder months.
I found that setting myself just four goals for the summer really allowed me to achieve something, however big or small that may be.
By no means did my life and everything within it boil down to achieving, or not-so achieving, these goals, but it was a good kick up the bum that I sometimes needed whenever I was doubting whether or not to say yes and grab an opportunity with both hands.
Setting seasonal goals is something I would highly suggest that you too have a little think about when you get chance. It's nice to sit down, with a cuppa of course, and have a little think about some of the things you’d like to master this winter. It’s a great thing to look back on to see how far you’ve come, without the pressure of the dreaded New Years Resolution. And hey, sometimes writing something down is just the motivation you need to actually get shit done.
I’d love to hear if this post inspires you to set some bucket list goals of your own, so please do let me know in the comments below if you do so. Autumn 2016 until Summer 2017 is a heck of a long time, so is there really any excuse?
Following from my last post, we already know what two of my ten goals are going to be, what with saying yes to travel opportunities and exploring the world, near and far. Whilst also making time for friends that I no longer live near; whether that be London, Leeds, Bristol or further still, I’m going to make a huge effort to reconnect with those I love no matter what deadlines, meetings or arrangements may crop up.
So thats two down, let's see what else I can conjure up to kick my bum in to gear this winter.

My first goal for the winter months is probably the biggest of the bunch and is definitely the most grown up goal I have ever set myself.
By the end of next summer, so this time next year, I would love to be in the position to buy my own property. Whether that be a city centre flat or a little two up-two down terrace on the outskirts of Manchester, owning my own place has always been something I have dreamed of and I truly believe that by the end of next year I will be in the position to do so.
It's something I'd love to do now, but after 6 years of moving EACH.AND.EVERY.SINGLE.YEAR I think a year out of the moving game is in order... Plus, we love our little city centre digs so another year is definitely on the cards for now.
Next up similarly to owning a property is learning to drive.
I'm a twenty four year old city dweller with no real need for a car. However, I like to think that I am an independent woman and the thought of having to rely on George to ferry myself and our kids around in a few years time freaks me the hell out. After failing two times (damn you reversing round corners) I think it's time I had some refresher lessons and nailed it once and for all don't you?

My third and fourth brand new goals to achieve between now and the end of summer 2017 cover both vanity and mindfulness.
Number three is to grow my hair.
After having short hair now for the past two and a half years I’m ready for a change. I once had long, dark brown hair that came below my nungas with a thick full fringe and I kind of miss it. This time I’ll style it differently but I am SO ready to have longer hair, I’ve loved being shorter and feel my hair has kind of become my trademark when it comes to blogging but alas it’s time for a bit of a change and I feel 2017 is the year to do just that.
Next on the list is a goal to combat both fitness and mindfulness with Bikram Yoga. I dipped my toe into it last winter but as summer arrived the thought of going into a sweltering room full of people and walking through town bright red and with my fringe stuck to my head wasn’t quite so appealing. However, it did make me feel great and I really enjoyed the ninety minutes of which I was able to completely switch off once or twice a week and for that I hope to rekindle my love for it once again.
Fifthly we're taking another look at travel with a couple of bucket list destinations for the next year. Now these aren't going to be something I cry about not achieving, however, I have three destinations on my bucket list of which I would LOVE to visit by the end of next summer and they are San Francisco, Croatia and Iceland, here’s hoping!

DRESS- JUST CAVALLI c/o VERY EXCLUSIVE, GLASSES- CELINE c/o SUNGLASSES SHOP, BOOTS- OLD ZARA, SIMILAR HERE

And my three final goals for the next year are more reminders and somewhat to-do’s for the year which include finding the time to read. I’d love to be able to read a book a month and to really fall back in love with reading, the way I do whilst on holiday. I’m hoping this will enable me to relax more and to be able to completely switch off before bed, not that I have any trouble with falling asleep lets be real here.
Secondly, I want to see more live music, I saw tonnes of bands last year and hope to do the same again next year. Watching live music is my favourite recreational activity; the thing that makes me feel more alive than anything else and for that I hope to amplify next year.
And finally I PROMISE TO CLEAR OUR MY WARDROBE EVERY SEASON! And mum, yes I will come home and clear out my room ASAP 😉

So there we go I really hope you enjoyed this post. Thats 8 brand new goals for next year, with two passing over from this summer bringing in a total of 10 goals in 12 months… Totally doable right!? And if I could hit 50,000 subscribers on YouTube by then too, well that would just be bloody marvellous! Do let me know what goals you'll be setting yourself for the next year, I would love to hear them!

As long as you keep being so inspirational and all-round great whilst you achieve them! Love your YouTube, Snapchat, blog and insta!! Also I went to Iceland in February and it was genuinely out of this world so you should definitely try and get there sometime soon x
Hello!
Since I saw that you have gone to Fashinon Marketing and Communication on your YT vblog, I was wondering if you could do either a new vlog or a blogpost about tips? Like how to get to know your class, how to “succed” in school etc? I´ve just started at Fashion Marketing and Communication at Chester Uni, and I am soo nervous..
So I guess my bucket list for this year ( at least school year) is ;
Getting new friends
Not failing my classes
Love this post, I definitely feel inspired to think a little bit more about my future plans and such! Also what an amazing dress!
