Boots, Bag & Pom– c/o Dune, Tshirt & Skirt– Boohoo, Cap- New Look |
Another season at LFW has been and gone (well, for me anyway) and I’m left with sore feet, a cold and exhaustion; but geared with inspiration and tonnes of style excitement nonetheless.
Three long, cold, yet super fun days of the latest trends, lots of girlie time and a heck load of cocktails, are over and it’s back on the M1 en route up North.
During London Fashion Week, the wonders at Dune London set me the challenge of sharing a typical fash week with you; whether that be from day to night or across the entire week, they hit me with some questions and I’m here to answer them in both written and visual form… WARNING SHOE AND ACCESSORIES PORN WILL FOLLOW…

1) What are you most looking forward to this LFW?
As I’ve recently moved back to Manchester, it’s become somewhat of a novelty to head back to London. As much as I was excited to move back up North, London is such an incredible city with a great buzz to it, so thats one of the things I look forward to most about LFW; being in a city with such a huge buzz and creativity.
And of course the fact that some of my best friends still live in London, so LFW is such a great excuse to meet up, catch up and of course drink lots of wine!

2) What style of shoe do you rely on to get you through fashion week?
BOOTS!!! I honestly don’t know what I would do without a trusty pair of boots with a chunky heel. I’m not so good at wearing heels, but the chunky heeled boot gives me the lift I need, but without so much pain.
Most of my LFW looks and to be honest day-to-day looks include a heeled boot, similar to these abso gorgeous taupe suede beauties, so it’s my ultimate shoe saviour.

3) Time to refuel-
Where is your favourite London coffee spot for you LFW caffeine fix?
This is a tough one, London has so many awesome coffee spots with delicious coffee and cosy yet creative spaces, but one that I truly love is Attendant just off Oxford Street. It’s built inside an old underground toilet so the decor is super quirky, with delicious cakes, salads and of course coffee, it’s a great little find in such an awesome location.

4) Foodie Finds- Tell us about your favourite foodie find near the fashion week show space?
Again, a bit of a tough one but the foodie find that springs to mind instantly, is Lina Stores. It’s a teeny tiny little Italian deli right by the fashion week show space on Brewer Street. With the most wonderful of food, traditional decor and lovely staff, it’s an absolute corker for a quick pitstop between shows.

5) Cultural Hotspot- What is your must see location when visiting London fashion week?
As I’ve headed back to Manchester, London in general is my must see location at fashion week, I like to jam pack as much of the city in as possible on my short trips to the capital.
My ultimate though, apart from Soho, is Southbank. Walking along the river and spying all that London has to offer, it’s pretty magical.

cocktail sipping with blogger friends?
We’re all keen for a bit of a pub crawl when it comes to fashion week. Escaping the crazy world of fashion and keeping it real, hopping from pub to pub in Soho, which has the most amazing selection of traditional little pubs.
However, if it’s cocktails we’re looking for we’ll usually start at Two Floors in Kingly Court just off Carnaby Street and finish at Hix, a super relaxing and cosy setting with the most delicious gin cocktails… MMMMM!

7) Pamper Time- Where will you be headed for a post fashion week pamper?
As I write this blog post, I’m heading back up North to a little village in North Yorkshire with my boyfriend. It’s the ultimate relaxation place with some really great spas. My boyfriend and I plan to get a full body massage and I cannot wait! The perfect way to relax after a crazy fash week.
