I’ve split this post into three sections, cleansing, moisturising, fragrance and touch ups, all of which were shot on my little travel table on board my Air France flight… Clever ey, so I really hope you enjoy this post.

First Aid Beauty Cleansing Wipes & REN Wake Wonderful Night Time Facial via LookFantastic |
Cleansing;
Heading onboard my Air France flight with a face full of make up my first priority is to get it all off.
On a day to day basis my usual go-to for cleansing is my Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish which I’ve mentioned previously here, but unfortunately this is just too big to take onboard a flight, so I opt for cleansing wipes instead.
These Gentle Cleansing Wipes by First Aid Beauty are really rather good, they’re super moist which means they remove make up easily, leaving your face extremely well moisturised and refreshed. They come in a really small and compact packet making them a firm favourite in both my inflight beauty essentials and my handbag essentials alike.
I’ll then finish with the REN Wake Wonderful Night Time Facial which is seriously nourishing, moisturising and luxurious. My skin absolutely loves it and completely soaks it up, I’m desperate to get my hands on the full size version.

Origins GinZing Moisturiser, This Works In Transit Moisture Spray & This Works Hand Makeover via LookFantastic |
Moisturising;
After a few hours my normal-dry skin begins to get a little tight up in the air so moisturising is absolutely essential.
I’ll dose my face with a good few sprays of the This Works In Transit Spray-On Moisture, which is an absolute godsend for someone with skin like mine that gets dry and tight very easily depending on the weather. I absolutey love this little baby and it has fast become one of my day to day products.
Finishing my facial moisturising with the Origins GinZing Energy Boosting Moisturiser, a beautifully luxurious and thick moisturiser that beauty bloggers alike love. Both the consistency and the scent of this is just divine and a must have for any frequent flyers.
Not forgetting my little mitts, they get a good moisturising too with the This Works Energy Bank Hand Makeover, which once again is seriously nourishing and is a firm handbag fave.

Caudalie Beauty Elixir & This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray via LookFantastic |
Fragrances;
Now I don’t know about you guys, but certain smells on aircrafts aren’t the most pleasant, particularly when the warm food starts coming through, so a couple of scrummy scents is a must for me.
My absolute fave is the Caudalie Beauty Elixir, which a number of beauty bloggers refer to as Princess Water. A lovely light and refreshing spray that I apply to my face for an instant boost of both moisture and fragrance. The scent is somewhat minty so is great for refreshing the skin whilst also being a great base for make up too, an all round wonder product!
The This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray is another firm favourite of mine due to the delicious lavender scent which instantly helps me to fall asleep. I am the kind of person who could sleep on a washing line, so sleeping isn’t something I struggle with usually, but whilst on a plane it’s not the easiest of things. A few sprays of this little beauty onto the complimentary Air France pillow and blanket along with my scarf, which is a serious flight essential for me, and I’m off to the land of nod in no time.

Stila Palette & Glamoriser Freestyler Hair Straighteners via LookFantastic |
Touch Ups;
As I’m now seriously bare-faced I always like to apply some make up before I get off the plane, particularly as this time I was meeting my boyfriend off the plane. My Stila Eyes Are The Window Palette is my favourite palette of all time ever… I mean just look at those shades, just beautiful. The large compact mirror is perfect to allow me to apply my make up with ease and the two orange shades are my go to for adding some interest to my eyes.
I’ll always carry my make up essentials with me so a quick touch up is super easy with the Stila palette by my side.
And finally, my hair… Well, lets just say is much to be desired after a few hours dozing on the plane. So my cordless Glamoriser Freestyler hair straighteners are absolute lifesavers. Fully charged from the night before, I’ll add a few soft curls to my do from the comfort of my seat and get off the flight looking fab, rather than drab.
——
My in-flight beauty essentials right there for you geezers, I really hope you found it useful and please do let me know if you use any of these items or if you have any products that I just MUST add to my regime, I’d love to know.

Wow, I never heard of a cordless chargeable straightener before! I imagine something like that would be so handy to have in your car or office on days when the wind just ruins your slick locks! x
