So this blog post has been in the making for a long while. Oh how time flies when your having fun Ey! But I thought I’d share some snaps from my trip to Italy and of course some holiday outfit inspiration along the way.

I visited Italy for a week in September with my wonderful family and had the most beautiful and relaxing time away.
We headed to Peschiera in Northern Italy which is situated right on Lake Garda, which is quite possibly one of the most beautiful and relaxing places I’ve been lucky enough to visit.
Spending our days lounging by the lake or exploring nearby towns Verona, Sirmione and the picturesque Italian town of Peschiera, it was a well deserved and wonderful break from the hustle and bustle of London.

As a family that due to ease and of course due to the fabulousness of them, has always opted for all inclusive resorts; however, this time we chose to be at one with nature, staying in a seriously cute cabin in the camp site Bergamini.

It was quite a big change for us but one that was truly awesome and the perfect way to spend a week in Northern Italy.
Having breakfast on our terrace amongst other similar families, then having a full day ahead of you to spend adventuring was simply idyllic.
Each town and city we visited had the most beautiful architecture I have ever seen and in true Italian style the restaurants we visited were simply exquisite.
I left around 10 stone heavier due to the daily consumption of pizza and pasta and with an Aperol Spritz addiction but hey… When in Rome (kind of)!

The whole vibe of Northern Italy is super chilled which explains my holiday wardrobe of throw on and go dresses, simple tops and my beloved A line skirts, it was nice to not have to think too much about what I was wearing and just revel in the relaxed Italian spirit.

We had the most amazing time and I’m already pining to get back there for another break away. So if you’re looking for a super chilled week away then I would totally recommend both Lake Garda and Camp Bergamini as your choice of location and accommodation.
