So the third and final post in my lil Istanbul series (check out one and two here) is in the form of a hotel review.
We were lucky enough to stay in the brand new Soho House Istanbul: my gal pal Sedge is a Soho House member so of course we snapped up the chance to visit the newest of the houses as soon as it opened.
If you know of the Soho House group, you’ll know that you’re not allowed to take ANY photos at all!
That rule, as a self confessed Instagram obsessive, was rather tricky for me and one that I very quickly broke… Sorry not sorry!
But I just HAD to share with you the sheer beauty, tranquility and luxury of the place; I mean just look at it!
The rooms were incredible, a super cosy and totally Pinterest worthy room, kitted out in the most beautiful of furniture and accessories. Personal highlights included the bed, the huge tapestry rug, the vast array of fashion and lifestyle coffee table books and of course the awesome Marshall docking station, which provided us with a mini disco every evening whilst getting ready.
But seriously, don’t get me started on that bed!
The house had two beautiful restaurants, one of which we tried on our first night: a delicious Greek feast on the roof terrace which overlooked the entire city and provided the perfect viewing space for one of the most stunning sunsets.
The food was simply delicious but, a word of warning, perhaps swerve the Prossecco. We foolishly ordered a bottle of it and were greeted with one almighty bill as we left. I’m not really sure why, but yeah, pretty darn pricey indeed!
Anyway, enough of hefty price tags and more about the house.
As you can see from the shots above, the pool areas were just phenomenal. The infinity pool, the double bed sun loungers and of course, the view. It was very easy indeed to succumb to the House and never ever leave.
