A few weekends ago now, myself and my gorgeous friend Sedge pottered down to Chelsea to check out super cool American style diner, Dirty Bones. Having heard A LOT about this little haunt I had extremely high hopes.
Stepping into the super cool little restaurant I knew we were in for a treat; neon lighting combined with gorgeous tiling and fun interiors the place was seriously cool and dreamy.
First up we started with cocktails, the guys behind the bar asked a few questions in a quiz like manner to fathom the perfect cocktails for us, which, just so happened to be the same; gin and fruity… Just delicious!
It was then time for the real event… The food! We decided to share our sides, Dirty Fries and of course, Mac n Cheese which were both absolutely heavenly, the Dirty Fries… Good lord, like nothing I’ve ever tasted, triple fried and loaded with chilli cheese sauce, BBQ sauce and cactus salsa, honestly incredible!
I then opted for a classic Yankee Hotdog, complete with caramalised onions, french mustard and ketchup, whilst Sedge chose The Spicy Chicken Burger, it was an absolute treat.
For desert, Sedge went for my initial first choice (and didn’t let me try it might I add…) which was the Peanut Butter Cookie Cup, it looked just as good as it sounded and Sedge assured me it tasted pretty darn snazz too… Betch!
With that I ordered the Coffee Donutini which consisted of a super cute sugared donut and Espresso Martini to dip into, an absolutely perfect after dinner desert.
We had a wonderful evening of really great food and a fab atmosphere, however, we didn’t quite leaving as stuffed as we’d had hoped, but that’s just a small downside (and plus, we are two greedy gals) to what was a faaaabulous evening and dinner.
