On Monday, myself and one of my bezzies went for a delicious dinner at Gigi’s in Mayfair. A super sophisticated and posh affair where we were treated like absolute royalty and tried some of the most delicious dishes I’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting.
Situated just off Bond Street, Gigi’s is in prime location and is the perfect setting for an intimate dinner for two with a fabulous atmosphere if you were to go with a group of friends.
We were greeted with a glass of prosseco and a three course meal fit for kings, or in this case, obvz a pair of queens!
To start I went for the Cornish Sea bass Tartare with Avocado and Orange whilst Sedge chose the Pork Belly, both of which were truly delicious and so beautifully presented!
Next up, the mains; again they arrived beautifully presented and similarly to the starters, they did not disappoint. This time I opted for the Squid Spaghetti with Caviar and Gold Leaf; an absolute taste sensation and seriously one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had! Whilst my hun, Sedge, opted for the Lamb which she assured me was truly delish!
A few glasses of prosseco later and it was desert time! One of us, not naming any names *SEDGE* went for vanilla ice cream… BORING, although she did say it was rather good! Whilst I opted for a chocolate dish, naturally, which was the perfect choice to end three scrummy courses.
We had the most wonderful of nights and I would definitely recommend heading there if you’re wanting a fancy dinner out, the perfect location for Valentines Day for any of you late bookers out there 😉
