Shirt, Trousers, Bag, Shoes, Earrings, Watch– All Anthropologie |
Anthropologie is a brand that I have only recently (I know SHOCKER) taken any notice of. Will and I were wandering up Regents Street when we stumbled upon their store, and the rest, as they say, is history! I’m beyond obsessed! Regularly checking their website for the latest clothes, accessories and home-ware goodies, so when they challenged me to create my own perfect Dinner Party I jumped at the chance! So read on to hear more about my ideal dinner party and for the chance to win £100 worth of Anthropologie Vouchers!
So first up (above) we have what I would wear; as it’s a dinner party i’ve gone for a smart casual vibe, a simple ombre denim shirt teamed with leather trousers, a combo that I seriously adore at this time of year. Topped off with some embroidered heels, a great way to add some colour to my look and complimenting my slim line watch of choice perfectly. As we’re so close to Christmas I thought i’d get into the festive spirit with these statement earrings and must have accessory of the season with this faux fur handbag. This look is the perfect balance of smart/casual, the perfect hosting look, super cool yet rather comfortable and relaxed.

Table Cloth, Pie Dish, Plates, Vase, Goblets, Tumbler, Napkins, Table Runner– All Anthropologie |
So for the dinner, I would set my table using a variety of textures, colours and prints to create a really fun and bright setting. If you have seen my flat tour post, you’ll know that I like clashing colours and textures to create a really homely feel and thats exactly what I would do for my dinner party. I really love using a mix of crockery pieces so these plates are right up my street, I just adore the nature references and the super cute animal drawings. Sticking with the whole clashing vibe i’ve gone for a monochrome table cloth with a gorgeous crochet table runner and colourful patchwork napkins, just gorgeous!
I would serve a delicious, warming and hearty pie (one of my favourite foods in all the land) and serve it with a variety of seasonal greens and gravy. Red wine would be on tap and served into these gorgeous coloured glass goblets.

Initial Cushions, Fur Cushions, Tassle Cushions, Sofa, Throw, Initial Mugs, Floral Mugs, Lantern, Gold Candles, Coloured Candles, Initial Decorations, Pug Bauble, China Decorations– All Anthropologie |
Similarly to my table settings my living room area is also awash with the most amazing textures and colours. After dinner I would bring my guests into the living room for after dinner coffees and chocolates whilst we lounged on the most beautiful sofa, scattered with a mix of cushions and a chunky throw. The room would be elegantly decorated with Christmas decorations and lit by the most beautifully smelling candles (if you’ve ever been inside an Anthropologie store, you’ll know exactly what i’m talking about) The perfect ambiance and setting to chat, gossip and have a laugh with my nearest and dearest.
So thats my dream dinner party using a whole host of incredible Anthropologie pieces; what do you think? I hope i’ve inspired you with each of my mood boards, but thats not quite it… You can win £100 worth of Anthropologie vouchers by voting for my dinner party over on Twitter.
