So i’ve wanted to show you all these shots for a while now but i’ve always been a bit skeptical just in case they didn’t provide me with the results I wanted, but as results day was yesterday I can finally discuss all my hard work with confidence.
These shots were produced and styled by myself for my final major project at university where I created my own brand LaB (pronounced like my surname Ellaby); LaB is a sixties inspired brand with a nostalgic meets contemporary vibe, taking influence from the likes of Francoise Hardy and Edie Sedgwick of the 1960s combined with Alexa Chung and Suki Waterhouse of today; LaB is something I really love and something that I am very proud of.
So basically I created LaB in it’s entitreity including marketing plans, promotional plans, a launch event, social media strategy, PR pack, lookbook (which these shots are from) and advertising campaign it was a seriously tough and longwinded project but it was all worth it in the end as I received a FIRST for it 😀
Unfortunately my case study wasn’t quite as good so it brought me down to a 2:1 overall, but I am seriously seriously chuffed to be leaving university with a 2:1; I can’t quite believe it’s all over, 4 years of hard work and lots of fun and i’m here, living in London with my boyfriend doing a job I love…BUZZING!
Photoshoot production and styling is something I absolutely love and I would definitely like to gain further experience in and eventually do full time but we shall see ey, i’m just happy university is all over and i’m going on holiday in just over a week….relaxation i’ve missed you!
