Throughout my year as a blogger, one of the questions I get asked the most is definitely “what lipstick are you wearing” and as an avid lipstick lover I thought i’d break it down into a little post with my regular Mac Lipsticks for y’all.
By no means am I a beauty expert, in fact quite the opposite, i’ve been wearing make up for a while, often just going with what my Mum or Sister are wearing, however if theres one product that I never steer away from it’s my Mac lipsticks.

First up we have;

DIVA: A beautiful deep plum shade, in the most nourishing of formulas, Diva is my go to evening shade, but every now and again I do like to wear it in the day, slightly blotted for a more day time friendly look. Diva is definitely my second most loved lip colour of all time and I couldn’t recommend it more if you’re after a strong, show stopping, dark lip colour, which you can see more of here.

ALL FIRED UP: Now All Fired Up is a truly stunning hot pink shade, it’s from the matte range, which are my go to for vivid lip colours that stay all day long. Some people do find them too drying, but for me they’re just perfect, a lip colour I know will still be there in hours to come. All Fired Up is a beautiful summery shade, teamed with a subtle bronzed eye and a slick of eye liner and my summer makeup look is complete, but you can see how i’ve worn it this winter here.

RUBY WOO: My all time favourite lipstick EVER (as you can see from the image)! No red compares, Ruby Woo is a regular on Christmas lists, Birthday lists and Shopping lists, I currently have 3 unopened packets of Ruby Woo waiting for me as I just cannot be without it, in hindsight I probably should have used one of them for the shot, but hey ho! Again it’s from the matte range, which as i’ve said, some people find too drying but Ruby Woo is the perfect lip colour to add a bit of sophistication to any look and for a guaranteed “last all day” look. It’s just the best and I cannot recommend it enough for you red lip lovers! I pretty much wear this shade with all my outfits but you can see more of this shade here.

PINK NOUVEAU: When i’m feeling a bit more girly like this look here, Pink Nouveau is the shade I opt for, a gorgeous satin formula that truly nourishes the lips whilst providing a long(ish) lasting colour. Its a gorgeous Barbie pink shade, that has a somewhat toned down look to it which is what first attracted me to it, Barbie all grown up, perhaps?

UP THE AMP: Now in this image, it looks rather pink, but Up The Amp is infact a gorgeous violet purplish kinda shade which you can see a wee bit better here. This is from the Amplified range so again is quite a nourishing, luxurious lip stick. Up The Amp is the shade I grab when i’m feeling slightly more adventurous, normally when wearing a rather simple look, adding interest with a beautiful violet lip colour.
