So another year has been and gone and we’re on the verge of 2014. All in all 2013, has been a pretty good year, ups and downs like many others but many great achievements have also been made, that I am pretty chuffed about;
1. I finally got round to setting up whatsnewpussycatt. In February 2013 whatsnewpussycatt was born, and I honestly cannot believe where it has taken me. I am so grateful to each and every one of you who takes the time to read my ramblings, I cannot thank you all enough!
2. I appeared in 3 magazines, Company and Look Magazine x2, such surreal moments that I may or may not have framed…*cough*LOSER*cough* but hey, i’m very proud.
3. I returned to uni after an amazing placement year interning at House of Holland, ASOS, Alexander McQueen and BANK Fashion and ohh what a year it was! I am currently going through the hardest and most emotional time of my life, feeling a wee bit lost with little to no motivation to continue with my studies at uni, any motivational words would be much appreciated right now!
Some other highlights of 2013 include, attending Fashion Week, visiting Prague with Will, my last whopping family holiday and of course meeting Harry Styles…swoon!
So thats my year in a nutshell, I’d like to Wish you all a very Happy New Year. I hope you have a fun night and get extremely merry (I know I will be) and i’ll speak to you in 2014.

Happy New Year, congratulations on your blog you've done so well in just one year and yours is one of my favourites 🙂 Hope you find the motivation to carry on with uni, obviously I don't know your exact situation but if you're feeling overwhelmed,sometimes just the starting can be the hardest part when you feel like you have a mountain much to do- take things one step at a time. Even if you do the smallest thing, you will feel better for doing something. Think how far you've come so far!

Finding motivation for uni is sometimes hard, I found that so much end of last year and in my final year this time around, just try and push through it and remember why you are doing it- it will massively benefit you in the future and you would regret giving it up! Happy New year girl, hope to finally meet this upcoming year!

Ah, i remember that horrible lack of motivation that comes with third year. Honestly, you just gotta not give up! Look at you Megan! You are an incredible person and have already achieved so much already, this last push will seem like nothing once it is over. I always found the easiest way of getting through it all was to make the smallest targets for myself. It is so easy to overestimate how much you think you can do in a day or to find a piece of work (dissertation) completely overwhelming. But just do little bits like, 100 more words and I can have a snack, something super lame like that, and before you know it, you're nearly there!
If anyone can survive the last bit of a fashion degree, it is definitely you lady!

congratulations on doing so well in 2013, I love your blog and you really deserve it! I'm only in first year of uni and have been finding the transition quite difficult, I just keep thinking that the degree will be worth it in the end and could be the key to opening more doors in the future. You'll be fine whatever you decide to do, just keep focusing on the good things. Excited to see what 2014 brings for your blog lovely!

Sounds like you have achieved alot this year,and your no loser,Id frame it too,If I was ever in a magazine,like you have,I thought I spotted you in LOOK 🙂 And your placements sound incredible,and I can see why you must be struggling for motivation after that,all I can say is,now Ive finished uni,I miss it alot,wish I got stuck into projects more and appreciated it alot more then I did! Happy New Year Megan! It sounds like you had a great 2013 and its so good to see how far your blog has come in the year! All the best for 2014 and, in terms of motivation, I would say just think about how far you've come! And how great you'll feel when you graduate because you'll know that, even though it was very hard at times, you still pulled through and accomplished something great and proved at least to yourself that you could overcome it… Well, that's what I told myself when I was doing my undergrad and it kinda helped! 🙂
