So i’ve spent the majority of this week watching NYFW and ooohing and ahhhing over the most magnificent of collections for A/W2013.
And whilst I would never be able to afford a single thing on those models, a girl can dream, can’t they!?
With Summer still seeming a million miles away, it seems somewhat ludicrous to be even contemplating next Winters wardrobe, but, that I am! How can we not, when New York Fashion Week has tempted us with rich tones, over sized tailoring and a clear 1970’s-1960’s nostalgic vibe!
But anyway, for those who haven’t got round to checking out the coverage yet, I’ve made it easier for you, selecting just the best bits, starting with;
BCBGMAXAZRIA;
Colored fur pieced together in a somewhat patchwork effect is teamed with oversized tee’s, skin tight leather and sheer organza, topped off with that loose beanie hat we’ve all been loving this winter and VOILA, the perfect hobo chic look!
DKNY
Paneling is big in the house of DKNY this coming winter with camel tones next to lacquered leather to create the ultimate textured 60’s effect. Oversized boyfriend coats with colour pops of tomato red sprinkled with dashes or leopard print are the ingredients to the most fabulous of fashion frenzies.
DIANE VON FURSTENBERG
The 70’s are back with a bang once again, with flares and ruffles taking over the runway at DVF this week. Burnt oranges teamed with oxblood’s create a fiery fashion fiasco with flowing silhouettes contrasting alongside the occasional structured masterpiece.
I'm mad over the BCBGMaxazria! The best year ever for this designer!

Now following you via GFC 🙂 you've got some great experience with some wonderful brands – are you now in your first full time (paid) role then? I'm still looking for mine! Keep up the great work!
