So i’ve been working tirelessly over the past 2 weeks alongside Kim and shoot designer/art-worker Matt to create a concept for the forthcoming JD Performance photo shoot, as well as booking models, a suitable location and photographer.
The shoot will be used for in store POS, windows, outdoor media such as billboards and bus stops, along with a magalog which will feature in relevant magazines.
We set off to London early, catching the train at 7am. Once at Euston station it was just a quick cab drive to the chosen location, a derelict warehouse just off Brick Lane in East London. That was where we met Dacre, the Creative Director of RWD magazine (pronounced Rewind). RWD is a magazine, distributed through JD stores, who work closely with us on several of the JD shoots.
Derelict warehouse, even the name runs shivers up my spine, but I was not prepared for the sub zero temperatures we were about to face throughout the day, even in my trusted fur coat!
The models headed into hair and makeup and then we were off!
A variety of looks and shot’s to hit stores in January, perfect timing for the traditional “New Year, New Me” mantra.
The shoot was a success and the finished products really are amazing!
