Last week I returned home from an absolutely incredible trip to LA and Arizona with Proenza Schouler! An absolute pinch me moment and a truly once in a lifetime trip. I've never visited either LA nor Arizona before and the 6 days we spent over that way were truly the most amazing taster to what both destinations have to offer, I will for sure be back! My dream has always been to one day (ideally a honeymoon) do a Californian road trip and somehow tick off all the destinations I've always wanted to visit, but now seeing how relatively close LA and Arizona are, I think we might just need to add Arizona to the list too, via Palm Springs of course!
There are SO many places in the US that I'm desperate to visit, there is something about it that completely fascinates me and I want to soak up as much of the country as possible whilst documenting it on my little film camera like this trip of course.
As it was a press trip I don't have much in the way of recommendations for you unfortunately but thought it would still be lovely to share with you some snaps along with a little narrative on what exactly we got up to.

We started and finished in LA however, I thought I'd start with the Arizona leg of the trip seen as that was what the trip was all about. Celebrating the beautiful fragrance Arizona by Proenza Schouler we were invited over to Arizona to be completely immersed in the brand, to learn more about the fragrance from one of the worlds most famous perfumiere's and to meet the designers Jack and Lazaro themselves, who were the most amazing, inspiring and genuinely kind people ever.
It truly was an incredible trip, a trip I'll never ever forget!
Visiting the Arizona desert which has the most breathtaking scenery and landscapes I have ever laid eyes on, camping at the Grand Canyon and finishing off by flying over the Grand Canyon by private jet!!!!
Yeah, I can't believe I just typed that either!?
Each and every element of the trip was truly mind blowing and I am so grateful for the opportunity, especially as I got to do it all with my little sister Faye!
I'm only devastated that I didn't bring my film camera aboard the private jet for the Grand Canyon ride (idiot) We weren't allowed to bring any bags onboard and my little camera got left behind 🙁 BUT fear not, I filmed it for my YouTube channel so head on over to watch this vlog if you'd like to see just how breathtaking it was!

Back to LA now for just one day at the beginning of the trip and one at the end so a teeny tiny taster to what LA has to offer. On our first date we checked out all that Melrose avenue has to offer including all the best shops such as Reformation, Glossier and tonnes of vintage stores along with Alfred's Coffee, somewhere I've followed on Instagram for YEARS! It was so cool to finally take a visit and try their famous coffee!
We took a trip to one of the Hollywood view points which you can see below was SERIOUSLY surreal and although smaller than I imagined, still totally magic to see IRL.

We ooed and ahhhed our way down Rodeo Drive (where all the fancy shops are) and cooed over dogs in baby grows sat in prams... Only in LA hey? We dined at the famous Beverly Hills hotel which was as spectacular as I imagined it to be with the most truly delicious tune poke bowl I have EVER tried.

On our final day of the trip Faye and I headed to Venice Beach as it's a place I've always wanted to visit and I simply couldn't leave LA without taking a peak. We got there super early and it was SO nice to be back by the sea. After wandering up the boardwalk and checking out all the tourist T-shirts (I'm a sucker for them) we headed to Maine Street for a spot of vintage shopping at my absolute fave, Buffalo Exchange!
For lunch we checked out Great White which my dear friend Emily recommended and my goodness it was delicious. A very "hip" and "happening" place that offers great coffee and v healthy brunch and lunch choices.
Once our time was up we killed some time before our transfer to the airport with a quick peak of down town LA which gave me really great vibes, I'm only gutted we didn't have more time to explore.

So there's my little photo diary to our whistle stop tour of LA and Arizona. An absolutely incredible trip and one I will never, ever forget! I absolutely ADORE these snaps, it amazes me how awesome each roll of film turns out. I'm so proud of them so truly hope you like them too and enjoyed this rather relaxed blogpost and a look into our most recent trip.
Have a great week and I'll be back here on Thursday with a style post.
