Today I come with a little gift, a gift of a snoop into some of my latest homeware purchases and gifts. I know a number of you would really like me to share my entire flat with you, but this time my home is a little different to anywhere I have lived in the past.
My flat now, is home, my little haven where I feel truly myself, truly relaxed and truly loved, so to completely share it with you, as much as I love y'all, it just feels a little bit too much. In the past my flats have always been a temporary set-up, something I knew would come to an end eventually, whereas now, well I don't ever want to leave. But, when we decide to leave our beautiful flat behind, I promise then I will share each and every nook and cranny with you.
However, that being said I am a sucker for homeware and I am STILL continuing to add to our little space, so thought it may be a nice, happy medium to share them with you today, in the form of photographs and a little homeware haul video, which you can watch here, should you wish.

So, first up we have some new arty editions to Casa Del Chip, in the form of an Andy Warhol Chanel print that I bagged from the wonders at Etsy. Honestly if you have a famous print or design in mind, but that may be out of your price range; I would highly suggest you give Etsy a little search before taking the plunge. I found this exact copy on Etsy for just £70, then bagged a bargainous framing deal in Manchester's Northern Quarter, rather than forking out £450+ for the antique original... RESULT!
The second piece of art is this totes ADORBS Oliver Bonas framed print; I believe them to be two little love birds, Budgies if you will and that completely relates to me, as we had a kerazy little love bird named Magic whilst growing up... Plus, my mums refers to George and I as "The Love Birds" so it really is the perfect piece to add to our ever expanding gallery wall.

CHANEL PRINT- Etsy, PERSONALISED ILLUSTRATION- c/o Daria, LIGHT BOX- c/o IWOOT, PALM PRINT OVEN GLOVE- c/o Maud's House, SPECKLED MUG- c/o Maud's House, GOLD WIRE BASKET- c/o Oliver Bonas, DRIPPING CERAMIC BOWLS- c/o Maud's House, BUDGIE FRAMED PRINT- c/o Oliver Bonas, RHUBARB & ROSE CANDLE- c/o Molton Brown

Anyone else used to love heading to the corner shop to pick up a kilo of your fave sweets? Yeah, me too. My choice was Rhubarb & Custard's so when I was kindly sent this Rhubarb and Rose scented candle from Molton Brown I was instantly transported to that stage of my life. The sweetest most delicious scent that is perfect for both Bedrooms and Bathrooms a like, I cannot stop burning it.
As well as being a complete boiled sweet addict, I also love nothing more than finding little unknown gems in the form of independent boutiques and when I stumbled upon Maud's House, a beautiful homeware and gift shop in Skipton (currently planning a trip up there to visit) I was blown away by the lashings and lashings of STUNNING home pieces they had in their repertoire. I currently have this awesome palm print oven glove, ceramic bowls with drip detailing and my all time favourite mug (thats a thing dontcha know) all from Maud's House and I can't wait to add to my collection when we get the chance to visit the store itself. I think it's so important to support independent boutiques and business' like this especially when their as beautifully branded and curated as Maud's House.

And finally, some seriously personal touches with this awesome light box from IWOOT. We've seen a lot of these nifty little boxes recently, and I'm rather late to the party on it I must admit, but I simply adore this edition to our home. It's the perfect piece to add some personality to a room; we tend to edit the message on the box dependant on the occassion or who we have joining us for dinner or drinks that evening. It's a sure-fired-way to add a smile to your guests face, a lovely welcome to our home and something totally thoughtful and personal, a really great edition to our kooky home.
It was, as you guys know, my birthday a few weeks ago now and my parents kindly gave me a beautiful illustration of myself by the incredibly talented Daria. Daria tagged me in her illustration on Instagram a few months ago and my dad loved it so much he got in touch with Daria to ask for a copy and to enquire to see if she could do one of my sister as a moving in gift. Both illustrations (see Faye's here) are truly incredible and totally adorable... I'm a cartoon, how cool is that. Personal gifts such as this are always the most special and I can't thank Daria and my parents enough for such a beautiful gift.

I really hope you liked this post, and having a little peek into our home once more. I'd love to hear if there are any other independent boutiques, homeware stores or kooky gift shops that you think I'd like, and of course, what your favourite piece in this little update is.

I love these little inspirational peeks! I’m more interested in interior design videos/posts than an exact floor plan tour anyway 🙂
I can see why you don’t want to leave your new quirky little flat Megan! It’s so homely and so your quirky style! Some of your things you have make me want to buy a flat or house and start buying homeward but I can only do that for my room unfortunately. But there’s nothing wrong with thinking for the future!

Your home is absolutely stunning, its pintrest worthy. Love the tip for searching for prints on Esty (I’ll certainly be giving that a go).

Love the clash of prints in the cushions, right up my street! I do love a mix of West Elm and country living but I found a place in Brighton the other day which I’m now obsessed with – hello new homeware!

I love all of your posts, they give me so many ideas!
I also really love the Manchester City print – my boyfriend is a massive fan but I like how subtle it is and it’s definitely something that I would put up. Would you please me able to tell me where it is from?

Please look into graceon wings.org- charity medflight – all Drs and nurses trained and only fuel has to be paid for . This may be a more affordable and possible way to get this little girl home . Prayers for you .
